What about testing add-on backup lights? I know, for me, it took some trial and error (and $$$) before I got mine right. especially with the base Sport model and the plastic bumper. Folks might like to see the different solutions. Maybe mounting options & possibly a “Plug ‘n Play” solution, as well.

For a potential future video: Since no once else has done it, was wondering how the new beadlock capable wheels from the MY24s and up look in their beadlock configuration. They appear to use the 24 bolt "scalloped" looking rings that the non-XR 392 and that one MPP wheel used. Might change a lot of folks' opinions on the new wheels 🤔

Great video! I am so glad that I saw this video. I have been looking for a good led light for my 23 JT. Have been leaning towards the ORM led lights, found them on sale for $932. But I was really impressed with the 1st light True Mods 9 in . They are 18% off on Amazon for $249. I think that’s the best option for me. I guess they were the dual halo? Didn’t really say in video, just looked that way? Thanks again, great job. I also hit subscribe, that was my first time watching your videos. 👍

Great video, guys! I have been running the true mods headlights since last July on my 2020 Punk'n Sahara. They are super bright and reliable thus far.
@Drizzy81328 күн бұрын
Thinking about buying these for a 2020 Sahara I’m looking to buy. How have they held up? And did you also get the T adapter for DRL or just used wiring it came with?
@jeremyjohnson497428 күн бұрын
They have been great. I haven't had any issues with them. I used the wiring that they came with for the DRL. I plugged them into the driver heated seat fuse spot.

Loved your channel, watch it every time a new video comes out. Question: I have been in the market for a Rubicon, probably a used one. New ones right now, way too expensive. Second, I love the old Nacho or Baja yellow. Don't care for the highlighter yellow they have now. Have you ever done a video on the tops? I would prefer an all-out yellow Rubicon, but most I'm finding have black tops. I've seen a video or two stating the black tops get very hot and you can feel the heat coming down from them. Plus, the black top and black fenders really fade within a couple of years. I live in Arizona where the summers can get over 112. So, the Jeeps with black top are a concern for me. If you have done a video regarding black tops, could you please include the link to it? As I stated above, love your channel. Keep up the great work.

You have me sold on that first set, the cut off and the amount of output would dramatically change my incandescent candles I have on my JT… That said, you spend $3-400 on an aftermarket set vs $1000 on say Diod Dynamics lights… which would make you more angry when they go out vs buying a set of OEM LED Jeep lights?? As always, really enjoyed this informative video and seeing you guys having fun makes it all worth while… keep up the incredible work!!👍

I thought this was going to be another one of those product videos where you show off all these budget friendly headlights and then show off the much more expensive Diode Dynamics lights and use this as a plug for those headlights. But in fact that was not what happened and you guys just made a fun video on budget friendly headlights. Props to the DRC guys for keeping it real. I love my true mods headlights, close to factory appearing but at an affordable price. Cool to see you guys show those lights on the channel

I have some off brand Amazon ones on my 15 jk. Not sure if my brother messed up the wiring when helping me install but the lights cut off randomly.. time to upgrade but on a tight budget.. lol

Keep up the good content and Jeep news. Maybe focus on quality accessories and not the cheap Amazon stuff. To your credit you have found some good stuff there also but my experience is buy quality over cheap saves $$$ overall. 5 Jeeps in, building 392 pics will come. Anyway, thanks DRC for good info and videos! Keep it up.

So do I need the T adapter to run the True Mods w/DRL or only the red harness that comes with it?

I put the first lights on my Jeep for a while then switched to the Oracle lights. Regarding the first lights Even after adjusting when I had my low beams on I got a lot of high beams from on coming traffic. I have them on the shelf.
@MajestyBlue55 ай бұрын
I assume your Jeep must be raised very high then. I have a Mojave that comes higher factory then the other models and i actually had to raise my passenger side headlight. My cut off is lower then people mirrors and I used to get flashed at a lot when I had the awful factory halogens
@wp_smedli885 ай бұрын
@@MajestyBlue5 Just small 2” lift the lights were bright to some I guess. But after a year with the Oracles I still haven’t got a high beam flash from on coming traffic.
