Early thoughts:
Rotations can be optimized. Should be using Jean’s burst earlier to gain more fanfare stacks by the time Hu Tao takes the field.
Full five star team, may not be accessible to many players.
Yes, Xingqiu works over Yelan. However, longer cool downs may make the team less flexible in terms of rotations, and losing Yelan’s mobility means more potential stamina problems. Xingqiu’s resistance to interruption is good, and it is VERY noticeable when you don’t have it. From very brief testing, if using Yelan with Furina, Hu Tao should be doing n1c since n2c seemed to apply too much pyro, might need more testing. Edit: n2c works!
My Furina sucks. Wrong set bonuses, level 80, and under leveled talents. Performance can definitely improve when I invest more. I tried using Key but energy still felt pretty bad (at 138 er) so I switched to festering. Energy feeling bad may also be a skill issue, could probably optimize rotations.
My Jean is not built for max healing which can limit fanfare stacks. Will fix her build when I get the chance. There are other healers that can work, as long as they can heal a lot. I just find Jean the most comfortable due to short cool downs, VV, and big burst healing for the whole team.
Big weakness of this team is lack of crowd control. Can swap Furina for Xingqiu and run Sucrose/Kazuha instead, and it would fix this problem, which raises the question of whether Furina is worth rolling for this team or not. Damage with the Furina team seems higher compared to Xingqiu/Yelan even with Furina’s lower investment level but this is only feels crafting, not backed by sheets. Vertical investment seems very promising for this team as Hu Tao, Yelan, and Furina all have great early constellations and signatures. Overall very fun team and I’m excited to try more when my Furina is better!
