If I want to start a vlog what microphone do I need to pick up conversation I have with people in the same room as me? (Without them being mic up)

If it’s for like a podcast you could use the blue yeti in omnidirectional mode with padded walls or a room with a lot of clothes. Since you said vlog I’d say if your using an actual camera you could just start with the built in mic, you upgrade as you go along. The first step to anything is just to start regardless of quality see what you can accomplish on your own with what you have. For example when I started making music (CARDIOR you can search on KZfaq or SoundCloud) I started with my built in laptop microphone and did my best to get it to sound the best I could get it, through me trying to figure out how I could get it to sound better I learned things I never would have had I not just started and I can see mad progress. Also don’t compare your videos to anyone once you do that you’ll start to feel unmotivated just remember why your doing it and started it.

everybody is hating in the comments, but this is one of the only videos where someone actually moves around at a distance to test the mics like that. I need one that’s not going to cut out when I’m like 50 feet away so thank you!!!!
