Glad to see you're liking Ginger Chicken, I've found it to be a nice ink. I did a quick water test on it one day. After 30 min dry time, I dunked it in water for 10min. When I took the paper out all the ginger colour had vanished, but you could still make out the text in a faint dark purplish colour. Absolutely not water proof. I was excited to get mine before it sold out again. Didn't take long to sell out.

Many of us -- including me -- seem to lapse into calling the brand Dominant Industries. That just sounds right. But it's actually Dominant Industry. I also love their bottles with the heavy glass base and the fluid shape. Ginger Chicken is a great color.

I need to get a bottle of that. I've got some letters I need to write to Congress. Bless their hearts, most of them are a McNugget short of a Happy Meal and Ginger Chicken ink would be perfect. It's hard to write to that gang of ne'er-do-wells in Washington without using fowl language, anyway.

About using fountain pens on printing paper: I don't know much about printing paper, but when I was still in school and often had to deal with terrible paper, I found that Rohrer & Klinger ink behaves quite well on almost anything. They only have relatively basic colours, but they are good and really inexpensive (in Germany at least). I think it might be worth a try

I love the snake pen holder, but every time I go on their site I get distracted by the rattler pendant. I want it to go on a keychain, but they don’t sell it that way, so I always forget about both of them until I see the pen holder again. Nice ink too.
