I find that many elden ring videos are super bloated with rambling and speculation while yours are informative, to the point and funny. Note about the stamps as a Stamp Rat: You can R1 outta stamps for quicker trades, and specifically with upward cut, it works *really* well as a rollcatch if you're expecting them to roll after a trade, or even a single hit! ...Unless they're lightrolling, but, lightrollers aren't real

1:22:51 you forgot to mention that Spectral Lance will also carry over any buff applied to the weapon it's on. One of the best combo's being Spectral Lance + Black Flame Blade.

Square Off isn't great for PvP, but it eviscerates bosses. The heavy deals 40 stance damage and has like 200 MV, meaning you get constant stance breaks (one for every 2 AoW that connect) and unload tons of damage for very little FP cost.

For pvp square off may seem mediocre but in pve it's one of the best ashes of war in the entire game because of it's absolutely monstrous stance damage(30 stance damage on the light attack and 40 on the heavy), while costing little fp and still doing great damage. In fact in pve it's objectively better than unsheathe other than being just a little slower, the light attack alone does the same poise damage as unsheathe heavy while costing only 40% of the fp and probably doing similar damage. The heavy attack still costs less fp than even unsheathe light attack while doing more damage and poise damage than unsheathe heavy.

the most disappointing part about vacuum slice isn't even the damage or the fact it'll only land due to mere luck (or free-aiming it to predict where the opponent will roll), but rather the fact that it has like 2-3 different variations that are all just better than it in every way, even the unique gargoyle greatsword has a better version cause it has a life drain effect like black fire or destined death

Hey monk! Big fan of your pvp videos and it's cool how committed you are to trying out pretty much... everything lol. When you do eventually finish covering EVERYTHING, I think it'd be cool to see some sort of rankings, maybe for the coolest weapons to use, or some gimmicky / themed builds? Heya monk, great vid! I gotta throw out a word for an easily missed gem that's way more fun that it has any right to be though - square off. Two things you missed about square off - specifically things that takes it from "vanilla, and kinda meh" to "oh dear, that's slightly terrifying"; you can roll while you're in stance, and the sheer amount of stance damage it does. First, rolling - that's right, you can take the stance, dodge a few times into whatever position is most oppressive, or to avoid a trade, and then snuggle someone with a friendly hello out of the roll that comes out alarmingly quickly. Second, it's hard to tell in PvP, but the stance pressure from square off is ridiculous. 30 for light, 40 for heavy - in comparison, the stance pressure that got Flame of the Redmanes nerfed was 30. It's honestly more comparable to giant hunt on a colossal than it is to anything else; you can stance break the trolls and crows in mountaintop of the giants, with about two good hits from a light attack square off. I've been having way more fun with this one than I expected recently, and it's one that's really easy to sleep on because it just doesn't seem to stand out until the first time you break a dragon's kneecaps with it.

I love the BFT ash. I have a build based on it. i love how it basically stun locks enemies. I was able to wreck Malenia first try with it last night. By the time the second form cinematic ended, she was already down to 3/4 health because the Black Flame just kept burning her. I dont know the exact time on it, but it was under 3 minutes. My physic was still active after the fight.

Crash shield is also pretty good on the barricade shield (i think that's what it's called), since it has innate bleed on it.

1:09:03 Sacred Order and Shared Order do stack with each other in case you want to obliterate a Deathbird, sadly along with the Golden Vow ash they are the most nerfed buffs in PvP.

With proper timing Stamp Upward Cut can roll catch after a crouching poke with Colossal Swords. Mostly with the GUGS and Zweihander because of how absurd their range is. You really shouldn't use it on anything else since Colossal Swords provide way more hyper armor than the lighter weapon classes that can use it. Also it's just fun launching other players into the air. Stamp Sweep in particular is fantastic for Cold, Poison and Bleed infusions. On Colossal Swords in particular their build is so high you will generally get a guaranteed status proc if the first part of the attack connects because it has that much stagger potential. I still don't understand why Stamp was split into two different ashes. Honestly it would have been fine being a Stance like AoW like Unsheathe and Square Off. And one more tip, after initiating the Stamp with either variant you can use a standard R1 for some solid mix up. Don't discount Kick. It isn't just for breaking through shields. If you land a raw Kick the other player will get staggered no matter how much poise they have. You can see it as the "Honest Man's Storm Stomp" but unlike Storm Stomp you don't have to keep track of phantom hits or whether the other player(s) have more than 100 poise. They will get staggered and be open for a free R1 just like Storm Stomp.

There is 1 other category left other than main categories which is Tools that have 4 damaging item(Wraith calling bell,Omen bairn,Regal omen bairn,Ancestral infant's head) and there is shileds too if you count maybe armors too

For the Golden Land ash of war if you slap it on the Butchering Knife you also trigger the weapon's passive effect that regens 1% health on every projectile that lands, trade-fests are disgustingly good with it

I just find vaccume slash a funny melee trade tool. Used to have a weird bug where sometimes if you hit someone who was above you (normally on stairs) where you would see them start kinda siesuring as you hit them repeatedly for the whole of the hit ox duration. Normally was a oneshot. Idk if it's fixed since I haven't played with it in a while.

I have a heavy nagakiba build using blood tax, icon shield, bull goat talisman, rot wing, godskin cloth, and alex jar. This is my faith healer build I call Inevitability. I also pair this with poweretance great stars and jump attack for big bonks.

Vacuum slice is amazing for PvE Carried me in the fire giants 2nd stage. It goes through the first hit meaning you can target the hands and even if it’s blocked by his arm you’ll get the hit

Vacuum slice is good if you 1. Predict your opponent and don’t make it obvious what your next move is 2. Free aim it as it’s area of affect becomes much bigger if you do so.

I personally really like poison moth flight. Pretty much all of my PvP experience is from BEING invaded, and while it can be a bleed build with extra steps, allow me to phrase it differently: it's a bleed build with D.O.T. It's great for putting the pressure on players who are aggressive and for drawing out panic rolls (espevially if they survive the first poison moth hit)

It has a slight silver lining. If you count the poison duration, you can get the poise dmg overtime and potentially land the poison moth flight for full damage.

39:45 storm stomp can be poised through if you have 101 poise and maybe even a bit less if you have a colossal weapon then the hyper armor might help with tanking it too

Vacuum slice is really weird, it needs a buff. more damage, and a faster casting time. It can be used, and i do like using it but it isnt great. Also love the iron greatsword it is one of my favorite weapons. Edit Dunno why i didnt add this before, but its good for stunning mages. And it scales with quality only, not the weapon damage, which means the damage only increases with more str and dex.

It isn't consistent, but fun prayerfull strike fact. You heal regardless of your infusion, and it has decent physical values and hyper armor made for trading. If you can't already see where this is going infuse pickaxe or anchor for max phys damage on your build, run spear talisman, laugh.
