Last year I started a series - The Internet Made Me Do It. Today I'm picking up where I left off and buying makeup from Facebook ads. I've seen so many ads for Il Makiage Woke Up Like This Foundation. I took the matching quiz and found my skin color match. Now, let's try it out together! Here's my full review and first impression.

Definitely agree on camera you look more yellow. It was a little "😲 that's yellow" when you had the video shot bring you back to full face of foundation.

Very good match!!! I have a lot of booboo scars and dark spots. so foundations are super important to me. I’ve been very curious about this brand. But I love my fenty especially for the price.

I have this foundation in shade #20 and I really like it. On my review on the foundation, I mentioned when other women say that the foundation is like their skin in a bottle they’re not joking.

Thanks for this!! I have an online store and I know the gimmicks that go into these Facebook ads and the Instagram ads so I was very unsure about trying their products but hearing an actual review from somebody who is not getting paid makes me feel more comfortable about purchasing their foundation :)

I love the this foundation! This has been the only one I wear for the past couple years and I am a big fan!!! I am bombarded by a ton of bra ads! Like the wireless ones that talk about how old fashioned our bra technology is and that this new "formula" is much better.... I constantly wonder how good they are!!! Please test those out!! 🙏🙏 Thanks and love you, your family and your channel!!!

Your hair looks flawless! The foundation looks good on you and seems to blend well with your skintone. Great review on the product. I don't know if I would want to try it though. $10 for tax is crazy. I like your eyeshadow! 😊💕

Hi Angela, great video. This is my first time to your channel and I hope you don’t mind me saying that I think you You have a fantastic bone structure, very model-like. Having used this foundation myself, I think it’s really nice. I’m used to the pricey high end foundations so this isn’t a problem purchase, in fact, because they’ll happily exchange if you are matched with the wrong shade is unheard of in the UK!

I have started to use this foundation in October of 2020. I bought a new bottle in December because there was a sale, but the things is, I JUST OPENED IT! So that is 3 months of using the same foundation, and using 2 pumps every day for work and weekends. So to me, I'm able to justify the $45 price point because I can spread it over 3 months. With the drugstore foundations, I seemed to be using a lot more product and was buying it more often. Love this foundation as I also have dry/combo skin with acne. And my skin has never broken out with this foundation like it does with most drugstore foundations.

OMG I see this ad all the time and been so tempted to buy the foundation!! So great to see your review Angela! Now I really wanna try it!! I never found a foundation that doesn’t show the wrinkles around the eyes more after putting it on. So I’m curious if this one would work for me.

Thanks Angela! I also have been seeing this all over my social media feeds. My problem with some foundations is when you can see it and it has that chalky mask look. I'm 56yo..so I'm curious about how it works for your mom. I have pretty good skin..very little discoloration/redness and zero acne. So I don't need a thick coverage. I do of course have some wrinkles and don't want to accentuate them.

I'm a shade 55. I like the foundation but the concealer is a bit watery for me. I do love that they have a 14 day money back guarantee and their customer service is off the charts!

I was at shoppers drug mart the other day and they had Garniers BB cream. I think it was bb. Maybe cc 🤔 either way, price point real good. Curious if it works . I know i know another foundation 🤣 but thought if your when i saw it. Lol! Most of my ads are for decor so i have no helpful make up requests 😁

I hope to see more of these 'Facebook made me do it' please? I did see an Instagram that like you said slapped me in the face.😂😂 It's not a make up product but a make up applicator. Its called the Flawless blush. It says that it uses less foundation and you get an even and flawless finish? I mean this could be fake? 🤷‍♀️ Maybe it might blow our socks off or not?😂🕵️‍♀️ Let's do some investigating shall we? 😂😂❤❤ Anyway thank you so much for your review.

I went through their whole little test and ordered the foundation. I was so disappointed. It had a really bad orange tint. If I’m going to pay that much for a foundation, I’d rather test and buy it in person. They did refund my money, but how many times would I have to go through that to find my matching shade?? No thanks. Too frustrating.
