Get yourself your own private cloud on your local machine, with just starting one docker container! It is just one docker compose file, and the cloud is yours.
It is easy as that :) You can use nearly all serverless features like lambda, s3, sns, sqs, dynamodb, kinesis and so on...
Follow me along how to play with the most powerful cloud at no costs.
For that we are using localstack. They produced an awesome piece of software which enables you as a developer and devops engineer to test your serverless developed code locally or in your CI pipeline.

Thanks for the detailed and comprehensive tutorial, Marco; there aren't a lot of them on the LocalStack topic. Do you use the AWS CDK? If you do, I think it would be great if you could cover "LocalStack + CDK" as well. There are even less videos on that topic. Thanks!

wait... you're on localstack's 3rd party (non-local) website managing your local resources? Something isn't right with this picture - that UI should be hosted locally.
