Aww, bless you. I find it easier to use a jelly stamper. You put the decal image facing down and the backing toards you. Sprinkle a little water on it for a few seconds and the backing should slide away, leaving decal still on the stamper. Then you just stamp it on the tacky layer of your nail. It's much less stressful 😅

What helps is placing the design on a jelly stamper and sliding backing off then using jelly stamper to place it

Yes, with a clear jelly stamper, you can see where you want to place it. But i think it only works with smaller decals, not with large decals.

So some tips from what I’ve seen and experienced with water decals/water transfers: I wipe the sticky layer off my gel this helps with repositioning the decal if it’s on crooked but you do still need to move fast. Keep the backing on and think of it like a temporary tattoo from childhood. Dab some of the water off the transfer but a little water on your nail will help move the decal around. Once the decal is on your nail make sure your nail is dry before applying top coat to seal it in, sometimes you need two or three coats depending on how thick your gel is or how tin the decal is, just like nail stickers. Hope this helps you or anyone else struggling

I think it is the sticky base that she sent with makes it more difficult. I move mine around a lot with the base gel and it stays just fine. The decals are gorgeous though!💜

These came out so beautifully! I have a bunch of water decals I bought for Halloween nails and then didn't get to them, but this year I am giving it a try. I like her designs, but I was a bit baffled by the 4-row instead of a 5-row. Also, I wish she had a whole sheet of just the crow design, I would get that. I love crows! Also, love how wholesome your comment about your dad's reaction was. My dad was my superhero and my inspiration for everything I did well in life.

I’ve seen others use the same technique where they slide the backing off while placing it on the nail. I think u did great for your first time using these! Good job! ❤ and I love how you did your rhinestone placements! So creative and pretty!

Cute set!! I love the dragons. I saw on her site she's got ACOTAR themed transfers, might have to snag some of those. I got suggested one of your older videos from about 9 months ago where you did a Barbie set, and I immediately went and bought what I think was the same pink jelly polygel. OMG I flipping love it so much. You should do a whole set with pink neon jelly.

Peel off base coat on natural nail before creating your works of art so they can be saved and or framed. Just beautiful. Definitely checking out her website soon.

I always just take the decal out of the water, slide it from the backing right onto the nail without letting it dry too much. That usually makes it easier to reposition a little if need be. The larger ones are harder to do but your nails turned out great!! And I loved all the gems you added.

I also have watched others videos on these decals using a stamper. I’ve also seen Lissette actually start them at her cuticle and slip them off the backing, while carefully attaching them to the nail surface. Might try that as well, especially with the longer ones. ♥️♥️ great video and beautiful decals! HAHAHA I commented before watching the whole thing!! You ended up doing it exactly like Lissette, when doing your index finger!! Great job girl!

These are really really stunning. With the decals as well as the chain/rhinestone. My fave is the thumb and ring finger. I agree with your dad, you did a great job with each set and should frame them even if it just a picture of them. you should definately use a peel-off base coat and put them in a folder or something like the korean girles do, they're too pretty to be chopped off!

Try using a peel off base coat. That will help prtext your natural nails and you can keep your old nails and put them into a binder to save your beautiful designs.

You should trust and put top coat over the rhinestone gel-then apply the rhinestones. This way you wont have to go over the rhinestones with the gel. It takes away from the facets from rhinestones. These came put gorgeous. I just love your videos .

Probably Barn swallows... they mate for life. They will come back every year. Their life span is only about 2-4 years. We have them on our porch every year ❤

Have you tried using a peel off base coat before you put on the nails? That way you can just pop them off and use a little mail glue to stick them back on? That way you could reuse them instead of breaking them off

Yesss, I've tried a few including Jello Jello, but I don't know if it was just a me problem but they started damaging my nails pretty badly after using them so often 🥲 So I'm taking a long break from them, but I may go back some time in the future!

Yes!! I think that any LED/UV lamp that is 36watts or above will do, so if you're looking for an affordable one I would definitely recommend looking on Temu, Shein, or AliExpress! Here's an example: share.temu.com/gM8vOEi7HkA 💜💜💜

I’ve seen some artist use a jelly stamper to do water decals. They put it in a jelly stamper and then stamp it to the nail

It’s so sad when you work so hard on such a gorgeous set then have to chop them off but! I see a lot of people using the jello jello peel off base coat and the one step remover and the nails pop off and you don’t have to throw them away and you can frame them for dad lol
