I love it when you do reviews of affordable brands. Your judgement is spot on. You got me into essence but I'm finding it really hard to find in Wilco these days. Are you finding that too? I'm not sure where else to find it? Love the cat ears 😻

thanks so much my love!! affordable brands are my fave too. i LOVE a bit of bouj (mostly for the packaging usually tbh) but nothing slaps quiiite as hard as a good product thats a couple quid 😂 i don't think essence have launched many new products lately so that might be why? we're v lucky in cornwall though because people don't usually gravitate towards essence - usually just the very well known brands! have you tried getting them online? i know justmylook does a toooon!xxx

@@stephanietoms Thanks for replying! I feel honoured! ❤️ Yes, I'm all for a bit of the fancy packaging too, but you got me onto some brilliant bargain brands, which I swear by. The risk margins are lower too when you've only spend a few quid! Will try online, because the shoppers in Derbyshire are clearly ransacking the essence stand in my Wilco; your channel must be popular up here and everyone is bagging a budget beauty buy for under a tenner! I really do enjoy your videos such a lot and love your honesty and judgement. Thanks Steph! 🌟

Oh and fun fact, not really fun starting off but I have been an alcoholic for about 7 years and im 27. Done a lot of things to quit, detox centers, counseling centers, but currently nearly a week clean purely on my own. With ny son, my dogs and all the chaos of life still circling around me. So far, so good!!!

oh MATE whenever people tell me i should cut my hair (or i have a random thought where i think about going short) i remember that exact moment of me with my beanie hat on crying on my old sofa 😂 i think it was the fact that i KNEW id be in for years of spending so much money on extensions because i hated it so much hahah. glad my ugly crying can make you feel better in times of need! 😅

FUN FACT; I have bionic jaws 😂 I had my jaws purposely broke at 21 to correct an underbite, I’ve 6 plates and 12 screws between my upper and lower jaws. Drs also found that i have 6 wisdom teeth during my op and prior to my op I had 2 teeth removed because I also had extra adult teeth (34 instead of 32) so basically I am the human version of a shark… apparently I can grow extra teeth 🥴😂😂😂😂

Hi Steph! I have been watching you for YEARS- I am turning 22 this November and finally getting the chance to come to the UK to celebrate. I will be flying into London and then exploring around and hopefully seeing different towns for a week. What are you absolute FAVE makeup finds that you can only get in the UK? I looooove The Traitors! It's actually a Dutch gameshow and me and my husband watched all the seasons. We live in Belgium and We've had 1, the second is coming soon but it's with celebrities here. We watched the UK, USA and Australian version too this summer! I'm obesessed 😅

Steph have u tried the Mua eyeshadow palettes there small six pan palettes? they r the most pigmented eyeshadows I've ever tried there unreal and there only three quid or something. U have to try them if u avnt already. If so get the wonderlust one, desert bloom and Andromeda skies. I think there's five or six palettes altogether but they are the best the shimmers r so buttery and pigmented. Ull be shocked how good they are. 😊

My weird fact: I'm a dual citizen of both Germany and the United States. My dad was a soldier in the US Army and was stationed in Frankfurt when I was born. I was born in a German hospital, so was considered a German citizen. When it was time for my dad to return to the US he had to fill out a bunch of paperwork to make me a US citizen. So I ended up with dual citizenship.

To answer your question about whether I'd prefer looking matte or oily, I'd rather look oily. It's funny because I work in a very hot environment (restaurant kitchen) and when I get home, I do look a bit sweaty and icky but my face also looks almost Victoria's Secret-ish.

Was just a process of trial and error cutting different things out till I found a winner. Think you can do a blood test these days though?

@@stephanietoms on my right foot🦶 and no they dont charge me extra... once i asked and they told me that it is pretty common 😅 also the lady said that she has the same thing, also her daughter and husband 😂 but not gonna lie my 11 y.o. me started panicking when i realised that there is an extra nail growing there
