I had one of these on my 14 foot ali boat they are a beast will run all day very reliable engine 1 carb 2 cylinders cant get more basic than that .

You can’t get that 2 stroke model new here in the states anymore. Won’t pass emissions standards. Still a great engine. Small and crazy powerful.

THIS MODEL IS A VERY GOOD ENGINE. FOR THIS KING OF BOAT, PLANE, OR A "JON BOAT", IN SPITE OF BEING IN FIBERGLASS OR WOOD, ONE HAS A GOOD COMBINATION OF HULL WITH PROPELLER.

cato storlid I doubt the owners manual says to take out of the box and late in dirt that start it and pull it out of the water with it running that way you run the water pump dry immediately and then completely ignore any type of break in for a new engine and give her wide-open throttle immediately

Still have mine re did the powerhead smoky at first but cleaned right up 60 tlra the new fuel w ethanol sucks hard to get other but so far so good 2002 still rocks I herd the 4 cly u have to go up 10-15 hp to get the same performance ?

I have that same motor but in a 50 horse he just keeps running and running never had a problem with it.

Not even a break in period? It's supposed to be run at lower rpms for a good 8-10 hrs before full revs Make sure to secure the motor with a steel cord so it doesn't fall in the water..

Что там катать это ендуро.Специально япы для обезян разработали.Там больше нужно смотреть что бы за борт не ушел.

Break in periods are important. The engine most likely got warped by running it like that.
