ANNOUNCEMENT!! I have changed my mind on which app is the best. Since almost every comment under this video says that flipaclip is the best I started thinking. And conclusion: you guys are right! At this point I have had some more experience with these apps and flipaclip is the easiest to work with. ALSO MAJOR REASON WHY I CHANGED MY MIND is coz I can apparently only make 3 animations with the free trial of animation desk if you want to make more ya gotta pay and I was looking for FREE APPS. To me, I would say 1. Flipaclip: pretty good! I use it for animating most of the time. 2. Folioscope: As someone who is part of the folio community, I really like it! It’s a very nice community. 3. Animation desk: only used maybe once, not the best, didnt really understand. But it’s okay to me.

Most people hate their voice, but the fact you did it was awesome and took the time to share with everyone. I subbed and liked. Your voice is also a powerful tool.

Folioscope: 5 stars, good and smooth Flipaclip: 5 stars, easy to draw and animate Animation desk: 3 stars, needs more improvement and uniuque features, not straight up copying flipaclips layout, also very choppy

I can't imagine animation desk as 1st place... You can only do 3 animations before having to pay-?

I'd say Folioscope is the best for me because it feels a lot easier with the basic tools that gets the job done and has a nice social community system in you can see other people's animations they drew but the only downside i don't like is that you cannot add sound to your animation. Unless you transfer a video file of the animated video you made into a computer and edit it with sound you want on a video editing software.

You know what's my dream? *I wish, I WISH. Flipaclip has Stabilizer.*

OK a tip for flip a clip if you click on the eraser there’s a option to change the opacity of your things so that it doesn’t have a little speckles behind it but having it slightly transparent could actually be useful if you want to use mirror on a fast moving in an animation just some tips about this new app that you haven’t heard about enough

me while using flipaclip: whoa this is so pixel wtf-- folioscope: are you challenging me?

tip for the flipaclip fill bucket issue: fill in the frame with the color then copy the drawing, paste it on the same frame. depending on what colors you use, you could need to paste it twice or paste it 7 times, just as many times until you're happy with the look. this will makes the lines look thicker, though, so I'd recommend drawing with a pretty small pen in case you want the lines to end up thinner.

For the bucket problem with the not completely filled in, you can make the percent of the thresh hold higher, just not too high or the whole frame will be painted.They added new brushes too, there is the air brush, crayon, and sketch pencil.They also have brush stabilizers for those of you thinking it is hard to draw with the lines looking wobbly.for flipaclip

As a flippaclip user when you MANUALLY colored everything in it hurt my soul knowing that there is a paint bucket tool

For me: 1st Flipaclip Pros for Flipaclip: Unlimited animations, Alot of colours, audio, great community. Cons for Flipaclip: Paint bucket tool buggy, Too many in-app-purchases. 2nd Folioscope Pros for Folioscope: Unlimited animations, Great community, simple design. Cons for folioscope: Lack of layers, Lack of Tools. 3rd Animation Desk Pros for Animation desk: Easy to use, Looks nice. Cons for Animation desk: Only 3 animations, Not much of a community (No offence to the people who use Animation Desk)

I think the best app is FlipaClip and here’s why 1. You can have unlimited time so you can make the animations can be as long as you want 2. A trick for the bucket tool is that you don’t use it! there’s a better way that doesn’t make that fuzzy stuff on the side. You make a layer, move it below the lineart, color in the different sections and voila, no fuzzy-ness. 3. If you use it for a good amount of time you learn little tricks that’ll help you a lot

I paid flipaclip and now i have multiple layers, no ads, no logo, and more. Really nice, i recommend to pay it.

Tip for FlipaClip: if you hold down on the plus button to add a frame, you can select to add an empty frame, to copy the last frame or to paste copied frames into a new section.

Personally I like to use animation desk because it has sooth animation and you can copy and paste stuff on to the other frames to if you messed up you can just clip it out 🤗

Tip: You can draw in any other app for flipaclip, then screenshot everything but not together for example a person, you need to screenshot all the body parts not together, then you'll use the lasso (or whatever it is called) tool and put everything together! That's it! I hope it helped!

For the flipaclip three free layers: its pretty reasonable cuz its like : 1st layer: sketch and detailed sketch,2nd layer: outline and colour, 3rd layer: mouth for lip sync Buuuut- the more layer payment if you want it to be more organized or something i dont know

I use flipaclip all the time to make my animations it is so easy to understand and make animations i love using it

If youre using flipaclip heres a tip: on top theres a ruler and you can basically make perfect circle, perfect line and perfect square (be slow when your making a square unless you want the sides to be not sharp

If you want more layers (and other things) on FlipaClip, it's a one time purchase, not a subscription, it's also cheap, so don't worry about having to pay every month or something!

It personally think flipaclip is the best. It's quite simple but that's good for beginners and makes it more rewarding. It has more features. It has the onion thing as well as rullers of different shapes that you can adjust. Many contest are held and there is a large community in places like here on youtube. The audio feature is great too and adds a lot possibilities to people who may struggle with editing their work. Over all I feel putting it last was unfair as you hadn't touched on a lot of things that were very important parts of the app. At the very least it should've been 2and but maybe I'm biased because I've been using for years as a beginner.

You don’t actually need to pay for a flipaclip subscription, you can buy just the extra layers if you dont want all of the features! I use the free audio import and unlimited layers

I recently got flipaclip premium and let me just say i definitely agree with everyone in the comments (and you after making this vid) , i managed to get my dad on board with getting it for me, if u wanna try flipaclip but don’t know if u should get premium, i’ll give u a list of what its like and u can decide for yourself Its only a one time payment of $14.99 Australian dollars The onion skin can be edited with colour and how many frames away compared to just the behind frame with no colour (as in the in front frames turn green and the behind ones turned red when colour is on) The grind can now be edited for size and opacity You now have a max of 10 layers instead of 3 You can now merge layers The time limit i believe turns infinite instead of a limit (i think, may just be default infinite time in animation) You can turn off the watermark You can add images, videos and audio from files without ads, in-fact ads are completely gone i believe! (Im only questioning on the second part) If theres more i haven’t noticed yet or i messed up and its not a premium feature or not a feature at all pls tell me in replies! have a nice day and enjoy your animating process, even if you don’t use flipaclip premium or flipaclip at all! :D

Attention, all, (woah I’m pinned) *Flipaclip has a update where you don’t have to copy and paste your drawing. Adjust the tolerance (“opacity”) and it will fill it perfectly. Also if you select the same color of the drawing’s color, let’s say hair, You can color the lineart by tracing it

Folioscope is the best since you have easy tools for those who don't want hard things and for those who do can transport/import it to editors or flipaclip like I do
