The old 200s are legendary from what I have heard! I personally have never had the honor of using one. Apparently alot of people are going out and buying new saws right now because they are having problems getting the mtronic modules so they are setting them up like the older versions apparently.

@@HermanWoodworks somewhere on yt I have seen some videos on modding from mtronic to a regular carb... i believe it was a 661 saw but probbably it can be done on a 201 also.. ours 200t is made in 2008 and has been through hell an back but still works like a charm

@@SHOKRE003 yeah right now they are coming without the mtronic from the factory because they can't get the mtronic parts. I haven't read anything about doing a conversion afterwards but im totally sure it is possible. Just becomes if its worth the price. P.s. I've personally never got to use the 201t. I couldn't justify the price bump at the time. I mostly just use it for smaller stuff around the house or when I'm topping branches when I fell a tree. Have you used the 201t?

@@HermanWoodworks lol, no I have not used the 201. But I feel the 194 is kinda slow, so minus the major price increase it could only be better

I have both the 201 and the 194 I have to say the 201 is worth the money where I live it weights a little more but it has enough power to handle anything that these saws are made for.

Really dangerous, especially when left hand is close to the saw. We've all done it though! I cut my myself through kickback and bouncing on to thumb. About a month and a half off work and trips to the nurse.

i literally do it everyday. if you know what your doing and your not a dumbass its fine.

I have only used my 194t. I have always heard the 201 are good. I have never had the privilege of using one. The 194t works great for what I use it for...I take it with me in the tractor for clearing low branches when I'm brushhogging....
