The lauki kulfi makes sense because bottle gourd doesn't have a distinct flavour. So you wouldn't know if it is mixed in the dessert

Lauki ke lachhe is a sweet dish quite common in India. You can give it a try someday. So, lauki in form of dessert may sound weird but it doesn't taste bad at all.
