While it’s not better lit, at least it seems that it’s not worse. It might be a little less “warm” in color but it seems close. The advantage to the moonlander is that LED is not as hot and saves energy and, since you can use the 3 cord adapter, saves plug in space. Apparently the ones coming with moonlanders have a black instead of white version which I would prefer for Halloween villaging. I’m considering replacing my standard bulb with an orange C7 bulb or maybe a flicker flame bulb if I can find one that fits.

I’m distracted by the MOTU Classics MOCs behind you. Thanks for sharing, trying to figure out if I needed to upgrade my spooky town lights.

In addition to the standard C7 bulb place some orange and/or purple fairy lights inside it (or outside as well) . The lighting will be better.
