The throttle stoping may be due to the 15% battery limiter. When you accelerate the moment the voltage drop may be triggering the limit and cutting the throttle. Then, after the throttle is cut the battery voltage jumps up again allowing the throttle to work.

Use the magnets as electric contacts for the cooling fans so the lid and motors are completely removable.

For your Jets you need to deacrease the output diameter of jet at least 1/3rd of the intake area, Trial an error with size and RPM of your impeller to create maximum pressure, For Turning left an right dump the rudder and design the whole Jet output into a CV type joint and swivel the whole Jet. But Excelent stuff I recon you can realy improve the efficiency of the Jets and turning, Get rid of your battery cut off, test the min amount of batt at cut off add 10% and just put and single LED show status when it gets there.

Back when brushed motors were the only option, high performance electric rc boats had water cooling on housing and the brushes. The brush/commutator connection gets a lot hotter than the armature, and most of the heat of the armature transmits to the housing anyway. How nice is it that brushless motors came along? Haywire electronics are common with boats that aren’t sealed well.

The throttle not working properly is likely because of your low battery detection software. The motors running full power draws a lot of current, thus dropping voltage over the wires, which triggers your 'cut throttle' implementation.

Ehh, brushed motors take water cooling just fine. If you want the easy way, build a box around your motors, plumb in a takeoff to get a bit of water from the drive and direct it into the motor box, and have a discharge out the side or back. 😁

Maybe a delay on the Voltage detector might solve the intermittent throttle drop out
