Y’all one of the main features of this flat iron is the flexing plates and because of that it reduces heat damage ... for us naturals I think that is very important! Many of you are saying that my hair isn’t as sleek as you’ve seen it but let’s be honest I didn’t trim my ends like i do in ALL of my videos nor did I do the chase method. Imagine if I did both or even one of those things, straight 🔥 .... however the point of the video was to show how the Dyson Corrale would perform straight out of the box without the techniques I use to achieve the sleekest of the sleekest hair. And in my opinion a 410 degrees it’s did a HELLL OF A job! The price is steep so I get it y’all need perfection LOL! Thank you for watching 💕

I'm not knocking this straightener or Dyson as a company... I'm sure their products are AMAZING but you can most definitely get the same results for less than $500. Nonetheless, your hair looks really good.

No straightener is ever worth $500 dollars period. If you have that type of money nothing wrong with buying it but it’s still not worth it. Just my opinion 🤷🏾‍♀️

You are right, especially when it lasts for 30 mins after it fully charges in 70 mins. But it can be put in airplane mode too but I can't see spending that kind of money.

I think most people who buy it aren’t buying it because it’s a hair straightener but because it made by Dyson. It’s also very difficult to find a titanium and cordless flat iron that doesn’t do as much damage to hair as an ordinary flat iron.

I like that you focused on the specs of heat damage. Most people hate this product because of the price, but realistically it’s not expensive at all when you see the health of your hair after using it. I have a Dyson dryer, flat iron and air wrap and the flat iron is my favorite. 💜

I don’t personally straighten my hair, I love my hair curly. I just invested in the Dyson Sonic Hair Dryer ($400) for diffusing, it’s good. I was hesitant to invest but people literally invest in wigs and weaves that cost hundreds. This is a straightener that you can keep forever... I don’t understand the logic. But hey, it’s y’all’s coins!

bobfryfish that's mad funny!!! 🤣🤣🤣(let me hold something) 😜 I spent over six hours just safely detangling my hair the other day. I have super thick, 4C, extra coilly, prone too dryness, hip length, afro hair. Ain't nobody got time to be fooling with no regular flat iron that's going to damage my already prone to dryness hair. I don't do all this moisturizing to fry my hair either. I've used and own a bunch of different brands. I haven't straightened my hair in over 10 years but if I was going to, I'd consider buying this for sure. Dyson is smart. They know everybody won't buy their stuff. But those that do make up for everybody that don't in that price. And they can justify the price with the technology they use. I also have four, yes FOUR generations of heads to do in my own house. I'd be getting my money's worth for sure. Thanks for the laugh!! 💕

I purchased this straightener based on yours and one other youtuber's review. So worth it. I have very long hair and it was my first time straightening my hair by myself. I usually go to a hairdresser but couldn't this time around. I didn't find the actual device heavy at all (perhaps its because its the only one I've used?). It got my hair straight - has movement and VERY soft! I think I need more practice with it but I'm very happy with it. I also purchased the Dyson blow dryer alongside it. That thing is magic!

Many people are saying it’s not worth it as you can get hair that straight with other flat irons. But there aren’t really any where you don’t need to do the chase method and where it’s less damaging to the hair. Less damage is worth it if you have the money.

Nice love the results. Did you use a heat protectant beforehand? Sometimes it’s all about your shampoo and conditioner also to a give great results. Overall it seems great but 500 is pricey coming from someone who loves their hair. 💕

I have super thick hair and never straighten my own hair because I feel like it's exhausting so if I found an iron that did it smooth and quick then 500 is a fair investment.

I want to see a side by side using the chase method and not using the chase method. I think with all these sponsored videos they asked y’all not to use the chase method but everyone hair has just been looking okay at best. I’ve seen everyone of y’all hair look way better after straighten. What I can’t figure out is why though. I believe it’s the lack of the chase method though. I like that you mention the price in the video title and video too.

I think the thing people are not realizing this...hair is not heat trained its not going to be bone straight. Also, this straighter is meant to reduce heat damage which is what it's doing just like the dryer...not necessarily better although I prefer my Dyson dryer over my chi one any day.
