To test the prototype more, I would recommend getting a new sensor bar just to make sure the problem is the remote and not the sensor bar because I feel like the sensor bar is the constant despite all the new wii remotes.

The sensor bar is just a bunch of IR LEDs, he could check if they work with a smartphone camera. Despite its confusing name, the sensor bar doesn't actually contain any sensors. All the work is done in the Wiimote.

It would be amazing to have a Biifmote, for price I’d say $30-$40 wouldn’t be so bad. Another cool feature to add, if it’s possible, is to have the sounds of the Biffmote to have Poof’s iconic lines.

I am definitely into the "Beef Remote with Beef Motion Plus Inside" the beef motion plus inside definitely needs some fine tuning based off of table tennis and basketball, and the speaker output needs to be dialed down quite a bit. Otherwise it looks to be pretty good for a prototype. Hell it could go on the market today and it definitely wouldn't be the worst remote out there so you know you're on the right track.
