The end of the year is upon us, and what better send off is there than revisiting the most overpowered blaster of the year in combination with new darts and a new BCAR?

the thing that really sets the storm apart from other springers is the springer accuracy and power paired with the speed of a flywheel. this is truly an inovation

Yeah, even though AEGs have been a thing in gel blasters and airsoft, especially, for awhile now but to finally have them in the nerf/dart blasting community as well is amazing

If you got the money, go for it. Despite the price tag, its worthy and value for money considered the performance, build, functions and quality. This AEB is the least likely to jam of all AEB system. The only cons I can find for this sweetheart storm, is the aesthetic which is not everybody's liking.

I've seen this video a few times now, and have to say this one beautiful blaster. I'd have to say, I'd absolutely love to get a Stampede to this fps level. Of course, they couldn't achieve much above 4darts per second because the mechanism is still moving the full length dart distance. This a fantastic design. It's rate of fire on full auto is what sets it just ahead of the InvertedScales, but only just.

Favorite Blaster for me this year was the Worker Seagull. As someone who has been doing a lot of comp style play lately, the Seagull was a nice, compact, affordable, solid, and very reliable blaster that met a lot of requirements for me for really getting into comp style formats. Nice bonus was with the right barrel and spring combo being able to get consistent mid 190s with heavy darts for 200fps cap games for the most potential range at that cap, and it just feels so good in the hand!

The Seagull is a great blaster for its size, I preferred it over the Unicorn.

@dove187 The stock 210mm Barrel, with the 1.6×250 spring, a Gavinfuzzy bcar, and heavy darts which are pretty key in keeping the fps low

thats the bcar I used right out of the box, but I also changed the barrel for a 50cm one from MM(came with the zwq s100 when it first came out) mainly to attach a faux suppressor for looks points lol I think the only thin that could eventually overthrown it will be when sabre FINALLY launch the autokit for both the genesis and ultima. it will only be semi but considering the ridiculous power of the 30kg spring in the ultima (yes the kit will be strong enough to prime the mighty 30kg spring), it will outrange anything thus giving it more advantage and true sniper status

I think the other option to dethrone it would be if something more compact was able to achieve the same fps. Maybe a bullpup version.

@@BradleyPhillipsYT absolutely, I recently saw something about an AEG lynx, but very sadly is entirely 3d printed. That's the only thing I hate about the storm is the 3d printed body kit, foamwork Adelaide said they were looking to injection mold it but never heard any updates on it, so I'll just cast it in epoxy resin

Hey Bradley! You are by far my favorite nerf KZfaqr and I made my youtube channel nerf because you inspired me! Also I have a couple questions for you would the Worker Bamboo darts gen 3 be better than Regular Worker Darts Gen 3+? And I am gonna buy a FoamWork Bearing Scar for specifically my Km9 Unicorn should I get the Medium Speed Variant or the High Speed Variant. Lastly Do you have any scope recommendations under $40 for my Unicorn? Thanks Happy New Years! (Sorry for so many questions)

For the Unicorn I'd use Worker Bamboos or you'll get inconsistent shots due to its low air volume. For scopes I'd look on eBay or Amazon for a cheap red dot Airsoft sight.

Thank you for the video. Sweetheart Storm looks amazing but expensive. Do you feel its worth upgrading to a Sweet Heart Storm with the new Sabre Metal Bcar and a Mythic Drum or should we wait for a newer 2024 AEB blaster? Current set up is a moded Colonel Wasp 76 with bcar and a TomKat 50 dart drum. Both are finicky get some jams with the Colonel Wasp 76 and the TomKat drum is annoying to load and you have to wind it the correct number of times. Having 50 darts to start is amazing though. Sweet heart storm at $525 is well over twice the price of what we paid for Colonel Wasp 76. Have you tested the Sweet Heart Storm with 29 dart Taichi Magazines?

The Storm is a big step up from the Wasp 76. I haven't tested Tachi mags so I'm not sure how well they feed in it.

@@adammoon2959 Apex sniper is a springer. This is an AEB that fires 300fps 8rds/s. They are different class which cannot be compare.

GavinFuzzy’s BCAR is quite disappointing. It only has 5 degrees of spin on it. Impulse purchase because, at the time, all metal BCAR were sold out everywhere. (Silverfox Industries claims 8 degrees, but GavinFuzzy’s Etsy says 5.)

I think testing all the ones that are made via CNC manufacture (or SLS in the case of worker's) is a good idea and would narrow the video down, but from my personal experience they are all great and better than a scar.

From memory the internals are mostly metal so it should be fine to dry fire occasionally. The weak point would be any plastic parts including the shell.

I bought one from monkeemods, but can’t get it to perform reliably. (even with your pro tip). It either feeds the dart sideways and/or gets stuck in the barrel.

Have you tried adjusting the timing with the thumbscrew on the bottom? Might not be set from factory with Monkeemods. Should be second to last notch.

Thanks for the tip Brad, have tried that and it with a 10 talon mag I get it to feed reliably without a barrel attached. But there isn’t enough spring power to shoot it completely through the barrel. I guess I will have to go and open it up.

I know a couple of people who have the Storm and all they gave is issues. Both if them never feed, always jam and can't get through a full mag without an issue.

@@BradleyPhillipsYT it's not even that, sometimes the pusher lags behind when the blaster isn't even loaded. I was going to get one but all the issues I've seen, it hasn't been a reliable blaster yet.

Bradley , please make a review for Inverted Scale AEB foam dart blaster (Nilin 逆鳞电缸软弹发射器）, new toy from China ，recently they also released new upgraded version call "zhi lin 志鳞" MP40 style of Inverted Scale … there are 2 more new AEB on the way , one is pistol foam dart already selling on market call Yanhu Fei Lian MX6 AEB nerf pistol(龑虎飞廉mx6 电缸手电软弹发射器）semi-auto only with fire control chip plus kick harder blowback(but this got some issue like slower fire rate & slightly delay shoot), good news is their designer Asako cooperate with China Nerf hobbier making the pro version schedule will release in 2024 ....Next one AR style AEB blaster call "Po Kong 破空" they claimed lighter weight compare it to Inverted Scale... this one still in making process...Thank you

I don't think the extra metre of two is worth the velocity loss unless your cap is 250 fps I'd rather a faster shooting dart close range And accuracy is good enough with the standard darts. I find my string scar works better with lighter darts.

Also have to consider that if your fps limit is 300, you could put a stronger spring in with the heavier darts and gain even more range...

@@BradleyPhillipsYT Can it operate with a heavier spring? My local fps is 400 for nerf. I've been eyeing off either this or an Apex Prime, I'm currently running a m20s with 18 or 30kg spring depending on the field. Would love to see a video with it hitting around 340-360fps....or higher

@@mitchhifi9192I haven't actually seen anyone try a higher spring, so for the Storm in particular this might not apply. But for other blasters like the Apex Prime it would.

Heavier ammo retains it's momentum longer, meaning better range overall
