Yeah I agree with other comment here, almost every Dlc weapon feels like it's meant for high lvl character who has more than one offensive stat in 50+/80

I had the opposite impression, most of the infusible weapons have good scaling in just one stats and have secondary stats that doesnt almost change the attack. I feel like most of them should get a scaling buff, because especialy when a lot of the base game weapons have better scaling in multiple stats.

@@Asteriarimiatry running them through a damage calculator, Smithscript Greathammer and Anvil Hammer have insane damage potential with str/faith. Anvil Hammer is probably the highest ar potential in the whole game

Out of curiosity does anyone know if they stealth nerfed the darkmoon greatswords actual beam damage the newest patch? Ive heard they did but dont have the ability to test it

Stance damage i think, don actual damage.

only the stance damage, but they increased the one of the blade itself

In the dlc launch patch they nerfed the stance damage of the projectile but buffed the stance damage of the actual sword’s hitbox

Only the stance damage of the beam wave, but they increased the stance damage of the sword part. You’d still get good stagger potential by doing the charge attack point blank

I don't think it makes much sense to test the dlc weapons at lvl 150, i was lvl 200 by the end of it. Many weapons have innate scalling in int/faith/arcane and can also be infused, so they benefit a lot from having 2 high stats. With 54 str and 66 faith i was doing insane damage with holy Black Steel Hammer or the Anvil Hammer, even without weapon skills, the normal attacks/jumping attacks just hit like a train.

There are a lot of players that stay at 150 - from what I have seen the majority

150 is the dumb pvp number i been saying 200 since the start

Testing dlc weapons at rl 150 doesn't make sense since most bosses drop 150k-500k runes in the dlc. RL 200 would be more realistic for pve.

I think he's trying to give the impression of you just got into the dlc and you want to go get a weapon for the whole experience since many of the weapons can be attained with no bosses
