Idk if it's just me but I played the same 4231 I've used all year and it is SO much easier to pass between the DMs and CAM the link up play has been much improved imo

might just have been casuals in champs qualies but I did feel like building an attack from my cm/cam worked much better. Biggest thing was not getting swarmed on the wing if I make a pass to my lb/rb. Love not having 3 people close in on me in a matter of seconds 😅

Played the cup today and won 3 out of 3 to get me to 10. Felt a sense of.......Fun. Just the feeling of getting through the middle. A pass that finds his way is satisfying

Apart from the patch, gameplay has been unplayable for me for more than a week now. Even in squad battles my players cant dribble or take first touches.

i definitely feel that finesse got nerfed cause even tho the shots from outside were not going in as much I only got 1 playing today. Keeper movement also is much slower.

For me I’ve noticed that I am able to play more through the middle, it’s wonderful!

I noticed that finesse shots are much less accurate outside the box, like they'll go over the bar or hit the bar more often now

If you play on fast build up it’s 100% more for fun and easier to play through the mid

I don’t think Nick noticed it but it looked to me that the player on the ball still gets pressed crazy but the players without it aren’t man marked as aggressively. Off the ball pressure has been lessened I think.

My thoughts on the update: The players feel much faster and passes are slightly better. But for some reason I concede 3 finnesse shots from De Jong who doesn't even have finesse plus. I feel as I old code allowed you to have slower full backs but now since they run back slower only fast work. Tackling is weird because when you pressure someone really hard you automatically get the ball but when you click the tackle button they just get is back. Finishing still horrible. I was using old tactics though so maybe that played a part in this but I still don't find the game enjoyable. (this is my opinions pls don't attack me)

Finesses outside the box i feel green or not way slower in speed after patch. On the line or in the box they are still fast and sick as before.

Went 9-1 in qualies. The game I lost, all goals conceded were Mo Salah and Son R1 BANGS. So nope, finesse + is definitely not nerfed.

As someone who doesn';t use timed finish the finness definitely got nerfed, still good for people who can green time though.

I feel like the r1 second man press is soo good and the defending ai on the team fill in the space soo well its hard to play out, you beat the r1 press you should have space in the middle to exploit and punish someone but there isnt

Morgan finesse shots are so nice. Obviously with her playstyle helps but her’s just always look so much smoother than anyone else for whatever reason. Not saying she has the best finesse shots but they look like they made her shots look sexier than others 😂. Maybe just my primate brain taking over though lmaooo

With this update, I tried 352 and it’s fucken crazy! It’s so op and good. Since midfield congestion is less is part of the update the strongest position in the game is CDM.

Went 10-0 champs quail before patch. Won 1 out of 6 games after patch for me personally I concede a lot more and now my dalglish potm salah and gerd muller can’t score finess so I’m forced to either trivela or cut back to score I just can’t play in this patch personally

I think it’s the formation you’re playing. I play with the 41212 right now and I’m finally able to play tiki taka and yes I’m in Div 1 so it’s valid

DDA coupled with SBMM forces abuse of meta mechanics because if you don’t take the opportunities EA scripting gift you, you are likely to lose to the player who takes their flowers. Has anyone else experienced this: most games against players I’m clearly better than, if I try to play ‘unsweaty’ and score nice goals I hit the post 90 times, and usually lose to a goal where every tackle and block bounces into space for the opposition before they roll the ball into an empty net. And on the flip side, I manage to win against some demons that should cook me because I take the scripted opportunities more and my Schmeichel turns inspector gadget…?
