The water flow was as slow as I could go and still have the mats clear out....any slower and they clogged up bad.

I was looking at your hardware screen solution for the wash box. I have used a cut-to-fit piece of a cooking cooling rack as a grizzly. Typical spacing is 3/8 to 1/2 inch bar spacing. Washed rocks slide right off. Fun vids from my part of the world. Happy digging.

Yup, I agree, the matting needs to be replaced. Also, since you are dealing with a small unit with this Gold Fox Mini Monster, feed rate is key regardless of matting. This applies to anything because whatever you use, it needs time to process. One day you will get to hear my story and it will all click.

Yes, I understand but when I test things I run them as hard as I can because I want to see how fast it can process. Later I can reduce that but when testing I overwork it. What I found out is...I can run this really fast with a dream mat and it still catches 98%

I'm watching your episode of running the goldfox on the river for the first time and your pump is a lot stronger than the one I got with the unit, so maybe my 1100 isn't working at full capacity but it's a trickle compared to yours on that day

How about if you classify it down to 1/2 or 1/4 inch first and run a little slower. You already know that you can't push it as hard as you were. I seem to remember when you tested the mini at your house, and you used some concentrates that you had just laying around, that you knew had gold in it. You guys liked the way it worked in the lab, So Slow Down. 🐌🐢

I can't believe all the gold you found at the campground. I feel, the mini hi-banker you were using, did not have enough surface area for the amount of material you were pumping into it.

For the price of the fox ud think it had a better matt . I see a lot of guys in the Rc world using these. And tom there is a few different trammel's out there . Fareeee from cheap tho . Wes . All i can say when i watch the Rc ppl they dont run as much dirt as you did nor as fast . Its small scale so think small scopes and the sells probably won't over fill and less losses ( in theory) .

Question for you boys since I am planning to book a rustic cabin for a couple of weeks this year. I see the cabins have fridge and AC in them, but do they have an electrical outlet in them? I ask because I need a way to charge my highbanker battery.

Yes, they have an outlet for the fridge and AC. You can unplug one to charge a battery. I brought a power strip.

The scary part is I think you're loosing out the tailings end as well. I don't trust that grizzly. Test pan the tailings next time out.

If i turned the water down the small stones got stuck in the mat and wouldn't clear. I'm running it as slow as possible but still the gold went out the end....but stay tuned...we fix this issue.

This is why I do not run any new age mats ! Tried and true metal and moss for the 🏆 ✌️, it's not a game of fast clean ups and minimal material in gold mining its about amount of gold per yard moved you need to have all available spots for gold to stop ✋️ nothing is 100% but metal and moss are what catches 100% of cons 😀 thats why you do not see any Dream Mat or gold hog in any commercial operating mines, maybe for clean ups 😉

I wasn’t sold until I tested them myself. I’ve tested them several times. As long as your angle and flow is correct the dream mat works well. But overall it’s hard to beat standard ripples.

@@hipbeeexplorer I use to think differently until I mined with guys out west, no ones messing with mats out in gold country its full send unclassified materials the more moved the more gold and there's no rubber mat that will hold gold with rocks going down there's no room to keep it in once they fill up. I'll run all day without a clean up and like yourself I tested many things before I stopped classifications and box types. I couldn't ignore the fact I went from 1 to 3 grams per day to 6 to 9
