I took a 4x4 elk with the 175 grain pilot cut in 2023. The shot spined him and lodged i the vertebrae. He was DRT but I did put a fast follow up in him to make sure he was down. Both heads were still sharp and knick free on the edge. The entry holes were impressive. I used the wide bleeders. The head in the spine did break at the threads but the elk fell on the arrow and thrashed so not the fault of the head. The 175 grain heads are .12 inches thick. that’s thicker than any other heads i know of by a wide margin.

These are great, had them for a few years now. They are tough as hell, easy to sharpen, fairly cheap for 6. The wide bleeders in them for whitetail is crazy.

I've killed many deer with basically the same broadhead (Helix - which I think may be the originator of the design) and the penetration and twisting wound path is truly amazing with this design. The other thing I like about them is that high speed does not affect them. Even at over 400 fps in a crossbow they still group very, very tightly. Adding the bleeder just makes it even more impressive
@BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA

@@BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA Great news! It's all about quick kills. We always try to miss bone but sometimes it just works out that way and this broadhead breaks bone like no other + the arrow always completely exits the deer even on shots of 55-55 yards

I know that's not a speed bow, and your draw length probably isn't 30" like mine, but that arrow weight on my 80# bow would be 285 or more. I think your draw weight is way off.
