Testing the Novation Circuit as an Analog Drum Machine, (and Novation Circuit Pro wishes)

In this music jam, I challenged myself to create a groove without using any sampled kick drums, and instead used the synth engine of the Novation Circuit to generate a variety of punchy, rhythmic kicks to create an analog-style drum box. As you'll hear, the results were impressive!
As I played around with the Circuit, I couldn't help but think about the possibilities of a Circuit Pro with additional tracks to create even more modular drums and an LCD display. Imagine the creative potential with even more options to work with!
In fact, the thumbnail for this video was generated by an AI, and represents what I envision a Circuit Pro could look like. What do you think? Would you like to see a Circuit Pro with more tracks and an LCD display? Let me know in the comments below!

That is a great way to challenge yourself and it sounds cool. Thank you so much for sharing that with us!!! Thinking about the Future and creating a Circuit Pro is a daunting task, there are so many possibilities. A.I. is coming on strong and we all have seen the Sky Net future and hopefully we will ALL BE BACK to see more. Definitely more tracks for sure, more samples, the ability to chain different sections going both forward and backwards and across, looping in vocal or instrument on the fly. My perfect Circuit Pro would also have the capabilities of the Rhythm built into the bottom two rows so that sampling, effects and re sampling could be used. I am still up in the air about an LCD screen and I definitely know the capability that it would bring but I really enjoy the workflow and not having the additional distraction is a bonus for being able to finish a project. I could see myself getting lost in the capabilities that an LCD would offer. This is a great subject and it will be under debate for a long time to come I am sure. Yves you are the Man!!!! These past few weeks you have giving us a lot to work with and think about. SO FREAKEN COOL. The Future is bright so hopefully we all have some shades 😎
