I am an ELCA Lutheran from South Carolina. Today (August 22), 1 John 4:2-3, 13-17; 5:4-5 was the basis for our Sunday School Lesson of the Day. It was entitled "A Conquering Faith." The hymn, Christ, Be Our Light, written and composed by Bernadette Farrell, is a good hymn to compliment these Scriptures, regardless of denomination.

Anthony, there are three dots on the bottom right under the video player in KZfaq. If you click those three dots you should see an option, "show transcript." That should provide a transcript of the entire video for you.

Which bible are you reading from? KJV? ESV?....

Isaac, I use the English Standard Version (ESV) as I preach, but prepare with the original languages.

What's the original languages?

@@isaacwayne4738 , the Old Testament was written primarily in Hebrew and the New Testament was written primarily in Greek. What I am saying is that I work with the Hebrew and Greek text as I prepare to preach in English.
