Thanks for taking us along while you "christened" your new soap mould. Looks like it's great quality. I love your candour. I really struggle with spatial concepts and get confused with sizes and shapes. Don't even talk to me about maths. Soaping and maths go hand in hand so I've learnt to not stress, ask google and also ask hubby to double check my sums. LOL. Keep up the great work. 🙂

Thanks for your comment!! 🤗 yes, math - not my strong suit LOL. I am all the time asking "Alexa" to help me with my math. Thanks goodness I have SM3 to do all of my batch resizes and all of that. I don't think I could manage LOL

@WalnutCreekBathBoutique 😂 it's coming. Got my handles all on. Really now I am just waiting on my epoxy to show up and then we can do the floors. Think I'll do a pretty plain countertop. Haha. I'm scared. 😂😂 what if I don't like it then I'm stuck.

Hi Tammy, Happy New Year! Sorry I've been away! I'm so happy you got your soap room redone! I know how crazy that process is, lol! Stressful for sure, even with the best plans. I'm thrilled to be back. The holidays were beyond crazy!!! None of the kids could get here on the same weekend....so four Christmases later we were done on January 4th! Finally got my tree down on the 8th. On the 13th we celebrated our son who passed away life. Can't believe it's been 2 years. My birthday was the 16th, no biggie, hated getting a year older, lol! 57 isn't a bad number, right? And here I am, back to support my favorite KZfaq'ers! 😍 I've missed being online for sure. I love seeing what everyone is doing and creating. I've never used that fragrance "The Perfect Man" (there's no such thing, lol!) Why don't you like it, is it to strong? Just curious! I hope you and the 👪 had a wonderful holiday season! I'm glad the soap studio is done and you can get back to creating. I made a batch of body butter for family members and friends for Christmas, your recipe, Thank You! Everyone loved the texture and how well it absorbed and no greasy fingers! Chase's wedding is approaching quickly. My daughter-in-law to be has a counter on her FB page, I think when I looked it was like 156 days! I have to get a dress soon, as everyone else has theirs, so she's on my butt. I also have to make 250, 4 ounce candles! Yikes! And the ceremonial candles for the church. And for the head reception table, and parents tables. I certainly bit off a little bit more than bargained for, lol! It's fine, I'll get it done, but can't count on Wayne to help....he's had a huge uptick in business. Working 7 days a week, 8-10 hour days. His remodeling business is doing well, but the tree trimming and removal has been insane! You wouldn't think there were that many trees to fuss with! Any way I'm out of here, I've talked your ear off, lol! I'll catch up on any missed videos! Have a great day! ❤️

The reason I am not a fan of the perfect man is yes it is too strong and I think too cologney - I love cologne scents but this one is a bit much. Good luck with all of your candles! I've got a Busy Bee, I love it and like you I always have the 'which way' dilemma, it's ok if you've done a structured pattern on the top like embeds but otherwise I have to measure it every time too, so it's not just you. W&W are fab aren't they, and for me customer service is key every time.

I've refused to go there because of price. I have 6 Work Shop Heritage molds so I've been ok. Would ❤️ to try W&W, but golly the price kills me!

Hi Lisa! yes, July's customer service won me over. Add to that they are absolutely wonderful molds, the quality is top notch. Glad I'm not the only one who struggles with the which way to cut dilemma, well, not really - I was hoping you would have a genius "Lisa Way" of figuring it out 😆

Beautiful soaps, Tammy! I love the colors! I LOVE July! I got my second W&W mold for myself for Christmas! She is positively the sweetest and customer service is A+++.

🤣 I only make one or two pound batches. Did same exact scent in purple, pink, black and natural soap base. I was horrified. Took it into school and they were snatched right up. Still getting asked for when I'll be making those again! Still have some of that scent...just don't know...LOL...behaves beautifully so there is that! You are a total gem.

Yes, I know exactly what you meant! It really does have the softness of a watercolor. I love how the colors play together. I can't decide which I like better: the bottom or the top. Two completely different looks, but both wonderful in their own way. 🥰 And how cool that you have a friend with goats! I used to goat-sit for a lady down the road. No milk, but I loved feeding them treats (non-frosted Mini Wheats). They were so funny and sweet!

So pretty, you sound like me with Bourboned tobacco. Not my fav but my most popular one. I will reach out to the company. I have two of the 5lbs molds from Brambleberry and the silicone liner is just awful. There is nothing you can do to get straight soaps out of them. I like the wooden box though! Thank you for sharing.

I have those molds. I've never had that issue, You would think the wooden mold would fix that problem. Have you reached out to them?

@@jillgross6232 They were gifted to me by another fellow soaper and she did reached out them two times, were replaced but still the same problem. I love them and use it but many of the bars are uneven so I will have riotous discount them or keep it for in house use. Will be better to invest on good new liners I think

so, yeah - Bourboned Tobacco sounds awful 😫 😂 the only wooden BB mold I have is a small 2 pounder I think that came with a kit I bought years and years ago. I keep thinking I will throw it out cause I never use it but then once a year I might grab it...so I keep the dang thing. The line is crap in it though, so I feel ya.

When contacting customer service in a company I always sign off with my soap company name first in large letters first, then my name. I haven't ever been ignored. I am guessing you might have done that, already. I have a 3 loaf mold from WH and just sent for a 2 loaf. I decided to get a glass giant canning jar looking jar for Christmas instead of the fermenter (steel) because my basement is unfinished & extremely cold there. I ordered a thermostat controlled mat and wow do I love it to hold my mixed oils. It will hold about 6 loaves worth of oil and if I ever get my basement finished, I will get the SS fermenter. I found the jar at Kings Soopers for 29.95. I emailed you on your website to see if you wanted to see a picture. The stationary pour really brought out fantastic swirls. Best one! Beautiful! Hi Cheryl! I do have my company name along with all of my social media links in my email signature, but my name is first. so - I was wondering about you and your fermenter last week. Thanks for the update on what you are doing. I'm very curious about your jar and your mat! My basement is staying at 66 lately - great for storing oils, not so great to be in it LOL I didn't get your email! I just double checked, can you try again when you get a chance? I'd love to figure this out before I'm totally done with my spaces! 💖💖💖

Did the banging release the bubbles. It’s hard to tell from the video. They look good. I wonder if the name of the fragrance is the selling feature. Lol. Wonder how many people come back to buy it. Love the new mold too. Thanks for sharing as always. Looking forward to the room share. Maybe consider a small wall oven so you don’t need to take the molds upstairs. Not a regular wall oven. A small one for crafters. Just a thought.

huh, I've never heard of a small wall oven for crafters...something to think about for sure! thanks for that 💕 The fragrance, yes the name probably helps but I do also get a love of repeat buys on it so it is for sure a keeper, whether I want it to be or not LOL

I sure wish I would’ve seen this before ordering from WH. I’d have bought from this company. I’ve been waiting for almost a month for two molds and there’s been a shipping label created for 3 days now, but it’s still in Washington… I’m in Michigan. 😢

that's crazy! I hate when a company prints a shipping label and then sits on it for several days before getting it out the door. I did have to wait for my WW molds but they were up front about it. I'm generally happy with my WH molds, but there is def a quality difference.

What would happen if as you poured and you saw bubbles if you stopped and did a quick spritz of alcohol and then continued pouring. Afterwards bang the mold. Would the alcohol alter the chemistry of the soap?

I don't think alcohol would do much for the bubbles. It's not like liquid soap where the alcohol helps disperse bubbles. I think soap is just too thick for it to help. I also don't think it would alter the chemistry of the soap, I mean a lot of people add it to the tops...🤔 but I'm really not sure about that.😊

@@WalnutCreekBathBoutique I wasn't worried about the height, but good to know there's a standard mold that all good manufacturers sell. I was worried about the cutting! It was this way and then that and then we lost the short side, i think if you put embeds in, label the mold on the outside with vertical and horizontal arrows so we know which way to cut. And seriously, I need those arrows, not you. Lol

I just don't understand having a company and feeling ok with ignoring your customers. Or being rude (my first experience). I do like their molds, and they are less expensive than W&W (shipping you know) but I don't know if I will buy from them again. 🤔
