Hi! I understand why you like more volume, it definitely feels more fun! But personally, I think that what people call "flat" hair actually has a very underestimated quality. It can look so elegant and sophisticated if very smooth and groomed! I actually think your "flat" hair looks very good on you, actually better in my opinion. It goes so well with your lines, works in such a great harmony with your face! It's such a great combination of proportions! I feel that adding volume throws you off balance a bit. Maybe the sides get too much volume and the top looks flatter as a consequence...? But if you actually prefer voluminous hair, you do you, girl! My opinion is mine only and shouldn't weight on you decisions! What matters is that you feel confident! I just wanted to share this thought. I think that if people know what they're doing, certain "traditionally undesirable characteristics" can definitely work in their favor! Anyways, I hope I didn't offend you, that's the last of my intentions! Happy Holidays!

I have noticed that regular hair steaming definitely improves the volume of my hair, like instantly. I have a relatively cheap Chinese hair steamer, but it works very well, you massage your hair with any reputable hair oil, then do a good deep steam for 20 minutes once a week, making sure to cover the sides of the head hood by a big towel so that the steam concentrates on your scalp only, and you will for sure see an improvement in how much your hair feel fuller. Also make sure to fill the steamer with boiled/filtered water only. I purchased a hair steamer primarily for the split ends that just won't go away, I found only steam to be the best solution for this particular problem. Hope my little experience helped. @angelalanter I always wished mine was curly too! I have flat fine not a ton of hair and not that gorgeous round crown like so many women. Curls don’t stick, teasing doesn’t even stay!! 😭 I may need to try this

I’m so conflicted 😐 Bed Head has this little mini crimper. I just watched a video where she did one side with that tool and one side with the Voloom. They really did look the same- The question is, which would work better on my hair 🤔 Bead Head tool = $25, while the Voloom = $130??

I DEFINITELY need this I have been trying to get more volume to my hair and this looks quite amazing love this!!!! I remember this from one of the gift videos I think but I think you should do a funny one with Mackenlee does parent's make up lol

Wow! I live for big hair and I also feel like mine gets damaged by ratting or teasing it. Does it hold pretty well? I don’t like to use a lot of hairspray

Hi! Great video. Do you think this would work on curly hair? Or not as significantly as enhancing volume that’s already there?

@@angelalanter Yes. Just at the root! I ordered some root clips & a denman brush to give those a shot. If I don’t have luck I’m going to give this a try!
