Just to be clear, the 3 lads on the bikes at 9,05 onwards riding off the lanes were not with us!

Does the bike needs license plate to ride these roads?

Yes, they are still classed as roads so the bike has to be full road legal

After snapping my legal plate off and riding with no plate I thought this way at least I’m showing my registration! Can’t please everyone I suppose

It's better to have a broken LEGAL plate in your bag ,then a purposely made illegal plate on your bike.
