+Fern Coleone In 1967 when Tete lived in NYC he, used to go every sunday to Village Vanguard to hear Bill Evans. And Bill Evans used to go to Tete´s gig Monday nights. Mutual respect from this two genius.

Very much like Evans, but maybe not quite so solemn, and with a friskier right hand. So, kind of a mix of Bill and Oscar. The best of both!

When Tete was in NYC in some gigs at the village vanguard, Bill Evans use to go to their shows to hear, and Tete also used to go to Bill Evans gigs the days he played. There was mutual respect between them.
