A "beginner's" guide on how to build T-spin Triples in Tetris. Note there are soooo many ways to build TSTs, but hopefully this video helps you get started on finding these in the wild.

That's a great starting point for sure! And trust me, as you keep using that setup, you'll start to picture other TST setups over time too.

Oh don't worry TSTs take a ton of practice. Took me forever to learn them. They're not super practical either haha. They're very situational

The building is not so hard to learn. But I don't know how to spin the T. Where it should face and which way to rotate it? My T-blocks just get stuck and spin nowhere. I can make a single T-spin, but longer spins don't work. How is it done? I think I have tried everything. No progress.

Are you rotating twice? Also make sure if you are that you're rotating twice in the same direction.

The problem is: when I do a succesful single spin, the T-block is first turned so, that its "left wing" is pointed downwards (soft-drop). Then I use the "up"-arrow to rotate it and the T-spin happens. But f.ex. when trying to practise longer spins with T-spin maps, I have tried every angle (nose down, back down, every side down), and try to spin it - no result. Where should the T-block face to begin with - and what arrows (=directions) should I use?@@GoTron88

I found out what my problem was. I hadn't checked all the controls and simply wasn't aware f.ex of the z-key (rotate left). Now I manage to do double- and triple-spins.

@@kaisakulmala7010 Oh yeah definitely need to learn to rotate both directions. Glad you figured it out!
