I am manipuri from Assam... I am brought up and have my childhood in Nagaland... When i remember Nagaland and it's voice and culture... I feel some mystical mother loving and missing me so much.... The feeling is something very special a very special world of mine.

I ask why a different country ? I don't see U.S citizens with different cultures and customs have problem with sharing space with different ethnic groups.It took 100s of years to form an anti-racism community in the U.S.India is comparatively younger nation,it's still getting over with traumas left behind after British Raj.If 'culture' is a criteria for different country then it'd split up into hundreds of them like pre-British Raj period.India needs time for better assimilation.

Manmasi, you should read about North and South India culture different facial different, language,fastivals and traditions but we respect each other(visit & see Maha Khumbh mela) . Indian (so called mainlanders) aslo respect and celebrate North eastern states culture ,If more and more people to people contact possible.
