I think it's from the german series "generation war" about ww2 from different german citizens perspectives who were friends before the war, one is jewish the others get send to the eastern front, one female back home. Its a good show.

@@othewk13 i didn't notice that the man in the background is wearing an m38 side cap with the wehrmacht cockade if he was an ssman he would have the totenkopf there (i think) like i said i don't know a lot. those guys most likely like others pointed out aren't from the waffen ss they are propably using all they can find and ended up procuring a flamethrower formerly used by the waffen ss. thanks for pointing that out

Evil is alive and well in the world today and no honour is given the millions of eastern europeans who joined the only force willing to fight for their freedom from the red terror. This song is based on an earlier Freikorps song. Many nationalities serving with the Waffen-SS during the war against Stalin's USSR, had their own versions of this song.

Italian paratroopers of the Folgore(known to be on the far-right) French foreign legion(many veterans of the Charlemagne SS went on to join the foreign legion after WWII, also at some point 7% of the foreign legion was made of former german nazies). Brazilian paratroopers Latvian army, finnish army, even ukrainians made their own versions, ukraine international legion as well

To be honest, some are currently trying to subtly book burn and erase history. All events prior to 1990 will be removed and rewritten as the elite see fit. Meaning Nazism might be twisted, or even removed completely. And rewriting perhaps what Nazism is, what fascism is, what the origins are. Imagine a decade from now, nobody will know the truth behind World War 2, nor anything about it other than it happened and there were Nazis and Allies. Or "Allies" and "Enemies". A dark future indeed but a decade from now it actually can and will happen in places like the United States, and likely the rest of the more radically liberal western world. As abandoning the burdens of the past paves the way to a better future, or so I've been told I don't know if that's true but we'll find out if we erase our history to see if it fixes our problems.

They have the same exact forced laugh, but this one sounds even MORE forced somehow, like the guy singing is just fighting to stay awake.

This is single-handedly the MOST intimidating marching song I've ever heard, in fiction or real life. "We care about nothing around us" and "The Devil laughs as we march" and "For us there is never retreat". Their voices are completely hollow of any form of discernible human emotion other than the desire to watch others die. Other German marching songs are about beauty back home, drinks and camaraderie, happy and light tunes with whistles and life in the voice. These guys just let out a ghostly chant to the beat of an eerie accordion about all the places they've razed and people they'll exterminate. These guys were built for Total War.

My great uncle and grandpa fought at the eastern front. Uncle was a gefreiter and grandpa was a stabsgefreiter. Both combined had about 21 confirmed kills. One of them was captured at Stalingrad, the other one fought until the battle of Kursk.
