We have taken over WCW at it's most perilious moment, post Starrcade 1997 with Sting having successfully won the WCW World Heavyweight title from Hollywood Hogan in a match that failed to live up to the hype and was dogged with the usual WCW nonsense. We're going to try and rewrite that history and save WCW from falling apart and ultimately try put the WWF out of business.

Ohhh nice, someone doing a wcw series, time for me to watch something. Start of 1998 is a great starttime, 1997 was really great storylines in wcw (if they wouldnt have fucked up starrcade sting hogan finish), in 1998 it started to go downhill, so its great to rebook. For me personally I dont book this time in wcw its too overwhelming, too big of a roster and too many shows haha. Good luck I will catch up with the series

Aye that was my thinking with this series too, it's a unique time in the company due to coming off the best year they ever had before the downfall. It's why I binned off Saturday Night quickly too, in theory I'd love to book the show but Nitro & Thunder is already almost too much at times. Thanks though, glad you enjoyed.
