Sad part is goodson catches it, there would be no conversation about play call. Playoff teams make the plays in critical moments. My team didnt get it done unfortunately. I dont blame goodson one bit. Colts shouldnt have lost to the bengals and falcons this past month.

Goodson shoulda caught that ball.. You can see he literally takes his eyes off it at the last second. It wasnt the best placement, but it was very catchable.

It was the correct call, Minshew messed up the throw, perhaps from the pressure from Texans' D. But yeah, can't really put this on the coach or Goodson. Colts were rolling after the missed extra point. Just glad the Texans won. Colts only had one successful 3rd down in the whole game!

Actually, the mistake was they called a timeout before the 4th down play. By doing that, it forced them to get the down or it was game over. If they saved it and don’t convert, they got three timeouts and get the ball back with about 45 seconds or so. So that’s on the coaching staff.

Could it have been a better throw by Minshew? Sure. But it hit the receiver in the hands, he's gotta catch that. If a player can only catch perfect passes they shouldn't ever get the ball thrown their way- EVER. Edit: spell check seemed to think "batter through" is correct over "better throw", weird.

I’m still trying to understand what was so crazy about the ending? Minshew threw the ball short. Colts had many opportunities throughout the game and wait until late in the 4th quarter to make a come back.

Texans came back to take the lead, Missed the extra point which could’ve been crucial, colts marched down the field close to the end zone and dropped the ball on 4th and 1 with the season on the line which could’ve potentially led to them beating the Texans by 1 point

@@jimmydeeznuts5574 not if it’s a short pass. You can see Goodson used his tips to try to hold on to the ball but he was also looking ahead and not at the ball throughly. Either way, colts don’t deserve to be in the playoffs. If the owner had paid Taylor at the beginning of the year, colts would’ve probably clinched a playoff berth a few weeks ago.
