It’s supposed to be about the best player, but money and politics play a role in that vote. You know how the SEC has been winning championships and Heisman trophies? Jealousy among the cfb nation and voters could be the reason he doesn’t and that is very sad.

It’s to be for the best player in the country. Period. And LSU without Daniels would not be good. He has the best numbers in the country against tougher defenses and opposition than any other in the talk. Nix or Penix ain’t played any defense with a pulse. This dude has and has lot everyone up. As an A&M fan - so happy getting rid of Jimbo - hopefully the future will be brighter... That said - have been impressed all season long with Daniels... most QB's who scramble don't or can't put the precise long throws into the corners with precision, he's throwing darts... not to mention his legs. Reminder of a Michael Vick type QB - I don't get a vote - but if I had one - he'd get mine for Heisman. Sadly, I don't think he'll get it - and I think the Heisman is an "individual" award - yet their record is a stain on that for him and honestly, not right... More impressed with Nabors though - the talent level he's going to take to the NFL is going to be insane. I think there is more promise for him than there is Daniels only because the field dwindles so much with QB's who can get field time and what team he'd get drafted by etc.

@@imagereader_9 i just think the fact he's not hyped nearly what those 3 were and i think he's a better QB than the 3 of them. and they were fantastic college QB's. that comes down to the losses - if they were vying for a title he'd have much more hype surrounding him. IMO. i hope i'm wrong and i hope he does win this. the kid deserves it and i'd love to see him play at the next level.

This all is still on Orgeron. He left the cupboard so bare of scholarship talent, that it's a miracle BK has kept LSU in the top 15 like he has. That and injuries to our secondary. If LSU played in any other conference, they'd have maybe one loss.

I think Jayden deserves the Heisman but think they'll give it to Bo Nix. The national Media falls all over Bo for throwing his short passes that receivers get a bunch of yards after catch against horrible defenses. Jayden is clearly the best player on the field aaginst SEC competition when you watch a game. The same can't be said for Nix.

5:24 I think this play was the turning point; if we didn’t convert, then A&M could’ve dominated from this point on, but then you gotta count on us scoring twice unanswered to get our lead back and then stay in the lead. I literally told myself at halftime: “The only way LSU is gonna come back and win this thing is if Texas A&M commits some self-inflicting wounds” like turnovers (INTs, Fumbles, etc.), which they did, and for LSU to capitalize on them. Of course the supposed “If we had a defense we would’ve been competing for the Natty” is the same feeling for me, but we could’ve easily lost 3 more games this season. I’m just happy we pulled this win out and hopefully guaranteed Jayden Daniel’s Heisman 🏆. GEAUX TIGERS 🐯

@@brandonwright9450 Linebackers have been covering for safeties and their own role, which makes them late to react to the rush. (once again, this is a DB issue.). I agree that the D-line should have been better against the rush defense though. That's on the DC playcalling as that was supposed to be his specialty and the same crew was solid last year with a different DC.
