As an avid outdoor enthusiast, I can't stress enough how ASMOKE has revolutionized my outings. The battery-powered portable pellet grill is perfect for all my adventures - be it camping, tailgating or even road trips. What I love most is the precise temperature control from the FlameTech patent and the convenience of remote temperature adjustment. It's such a game-changer! The food cooked on it always comes out perfect, with a distinct smoky flavor thanks to the wood pellets. My outings are now more fun and flavorful, and the cleanup is a breeze too. The convenience and efficiency of ASMOKE are unparalleled. I wholeheartedly recommend it to all outdoor lovers. #Asmoke.

Salt lick BBQ.. went here with the husband and stepson, spent $100 on food there and took some to go .. unfortunately the stepson ate nothing bc they didn't have burgers and he's one of THOSE teenagers..so he had a gas station hot dog later..the pulled pork sandwiches are sooooo amazing, if we didn't live 8 hours away we'd be there bi-weekly, I support the husbands thought of moving to Texas just to be closer to this place.

we drove down to Driftwood from Dallas on Thanksgivings Eve (flew in from CA for Cowboys Dolphins game on Thurs). The traffic was a nightmare but it was well worth if. The brisket may be a little better at Franklin's, but for a true Texas BBQ experience, it's hard to beat the Salt Lick. Just wish the side were better. Potato salad was like cold mashed potatoes.

I live Texas and always check the prices beforehand online because a lot of these places charge a lot. Especially if you buy by the pound. If you just get a “plate” it usually comes 2 to 3 meats and sides which is a little bit cheaper or even a bbq sandwich. Some places charge 25 bucks a pound for 1lb brisket which is expensive. Always try a bit from each bbq place and you eventually find out some places have something better than the other place that’s better.

I live about 7 miles from this place, in southwest Austin. The food is classic Texas barbecue, and the ambiance is the best thing there. The brisket and sausage are exceptional It is a pain about the BYOB issue, because people overindulge and then drive back to wherever they stay. There are other BBQ places within 50 miles that compare and in some ways surpass. Try anything in Lockhart, Texas, Elgin Southside meat market, any of the Mikeska's , and in Austin, try the two county Line locations. Donn's in Austin also does a good job of providing traditional Texas BBQ. California transplants seem to prefer to line up downtown for BBQ, but they seem to learn after a few years.

Traveling is nice, but going around the world this much must be a pain. So many international flights. What do you do on the plane? Read, watch films/tv, portable video games? I'd go insane.

izzyG710 Yeah. I get you. I guess I'm not a nomad at heart. I need a safe home, a place of comfort and return. Living from one flight to another, from one bed to another, always on the go... nah.

Как же мне нравится непринужденная обстановка!!! Нет пафоса. Мясо режут и не кладут на весы, чтоб лишний грамм поймать! Чего чего, а вот удобства и комфорта жизни американцам не занимать!
