OMG you hit the nail on the head! I have been a Guardian ad Litem for abused and neglected children for 12 years and a foster/adoptive parent for 5 years and can attest based on personal experience that the child welfare system is a complete joke. Most of the people in the "system" are paid actors who do a good job of "playing pretend" as it relates to the best interest of children. They care more about what is more convenient for them. This goes for CPS caseworkers, their supervisors, the Judges who allow this to go on, their attorneys, etc. It's pathetic.

I’m wondering why Grandma didn’t have the child after either her son or daughter or both were deemed inappropriate for placement. I’ve seen so many cases where the services offered & the way they treat the parents installs demands on ppl that don’t have the means to comply.

You are correct I was an investigator there for 26 years there are a few good folks there but the vast majority are incompetent and very lazy and unethical.I saw behavior in management as well as employees that you would not believe if I told you.

I agree they should face consequences when they are wrong. But you have to be able to talk to the children without consent and without parents present, so the children are able to speak freely if they are being abused.

Who is responsible for the hundreds of children the die while in the so/called care of CPS once they decide they can take better care than the parents? How about the thousands that end up sex trafficked after CPS takes them from their parents? Do children belong to the state? Lastly, how about the lies that we see CPS workers put on reports and present to judges in order to steal children? They do all of these things and worse and they have police and sheriffs on hand the enforce whatever they say… am I the only person that sees that as a huge problem?

You can also defy judges, court orders and human decency and arrest anyone who gets in your way.

Yes, Texas CPS is a big problem. They tried it on me as well. So as I was interviewed I was looking at the Texas Family Code on my laptop. She never came back.

What I'm saying is they need to do better looking into the placements of the kids more before they are allowed to place children with just anyone I'm so happy this family is taking a stand and hopefully make some changes cause it needs to happen its needed to happen for a long long time

I know with my job I do the similar care that if I was in it for the money I would not be able to be as great as I am in my job, I love my job and I love the people I care for and it helps me be a much better person and to focus,

That's why there's such a high turnover because people want to make more money and basically not to do anything in my job,.

My daughter's father and his girlfriend called cps on me cause the state took his $1200 stimulus check for child support which he owes 13000

@@arias6720 the question is how to get justice. There’s no where for families to go. So when my son was on visitation, he was left in a room in Nevada and what I was told he was found alone in a hotel room with pornography on the tv. I was shocked when a family member told me this. I asked my son what happened. He told me about seeing the police and some details but these are details of a child. I immediately went to CPS. If my son was taken out of state and was found in another state and transferred custody during a three day weekend visitation, if that happened the law states the custodial parent has to be notified. CPS has no evidence they ever notified me. Police report? Nevada couldn’t give me a report without CPS. CPS never notified the family court. Or at least in any record I could view. And I went to State CPS. I left a message with the governors office. I got an interview with some lady and never ever heard back. My attorney went missing at the same time. They couldn’t tell me where he was or what happened to him until years later.

@@ms.lolitagore5822 died in a fire I was told by phone by the bar association. Years later. The policy already states that a client should be notified of the disposition of their attorney by the bar. And we have never been notified in writing. So if I were to appeal anything I would have that as documentation. They won’t put it in writing. Myself and my attorney were given death threats by the father, who abandoned the child multi state. So wouldn’t you expect that law enforcement would follow up on those threats and investigate what happened to an attorney that wasn’t responding in a case where he received death threats? This was a child advocate and attorney. Why wouldn’t they notify his clients. I can’t even get a date on when he became deceased to factor it into my timeline. My interactions were literally day to day minute to minute. I documented everything date and time. So if I could get confirmation on when it happened I could place it in my timeline who knows if it could be helpful to his family. Never once interviewed about Michael Day. Or told his whereabouts during my case. The terror I felt when I couldn’t contact my attorney during a visitation crisis incident is more than I can explain. When my attorney didn’t answer my calls and The officers if the court, they all said nothing when I had to appear by myself without my counsel. I have never felt so alone in my entire life.

I seen a video not to long ago of a child supposedly beat up by another student or , no sorry day care child , the injuries were very bad , no kid could do that much damage. You know it's the whole thing,. You have daycare you have schools you have elderly care, you have nursing home. You had two idiots assault a elderly man , walking by a bus transit system, this punk sucker punched the man , he died , another dumbass, a dame with her young daughter shoved an old man with a walker , and grabbed her kids hand and stepped over him ,. He also died ,. In a nursing home, a Vietnam veteran died he needed help, they gave him a ration of garbage, stop pushing the button we hear you, he couldn't breathe. I don't understand what in the hell is going on here ?? Maybe I don't want to know.

Whole bureaucracies have grown up that employ lazy govt workers and others who have lost sight of their duty to help the innocent. This all needs to be shaken out and investigated - punishments meted out where necessary. One example: Black RE agent friend of mine had house rented to black store-front preacher who had about 6 foster-care babies running around his house - dirty diapers, sucking on 'sugar tits' (sugar in a sock) instead of proper bottles and feeding time. You figure out how this happened. No scarcity of stories in the news - how about the two lesbians with a car-full of black siblings who drove themselves and kids off cliff in Monterrey, CA?! How did they end up with those kids?! etc, etc ...

I’m being for real I was sexually abused by one my uncles they took me from mom they would t give me too my dad they gave too another uncle ! Then after that I was back around my grandmother 👵 an the uncle who sexually abused me when I was years old every year I had too see my abuser Even after I had been adopted they jumped my mom one night an made me watch it ! Had backing of law enforcement and local courts the problem was cps management the clashed with ethics and common sense solutions local county folks not the issue ignorant power hungry Austin folks. Local law DA courts treated me very well and were supportive.

No one was ever charged it did come close but cps bullies in management were like roaches you shine the light and they run bad media scares them.

I agree. But that's not going to happen b/c the plan is to allow some of the private businesses that own the jails in Texas to take over. If you're 40+ and from Tx then you should remember that we had a lot of foster homes, similar to what's in RR, Perry started closing them down. Same is true with State homes/schools. It was part of deregulation and most folks thought it was confined to insurance companies. Kirk Watson was in on a lot of this mess too, when he stepped down, he did so to work behind the scene.

@@arias6720 I recently experienced this. My child's father and his gf called cps on me cause the state took his stimulus for unpaid child support. Just because cps was called means nothing. People sometimes call cps on parents just cause they are angry.

I have no idea what "access to free birth control " has to do with hundreds of kids getting killed , murdered , beaten to death in 2 years while in the foster "care" system by the people who are paid to "care" for them . There is not 1 form of birth control that is 100% effective , they fail all the time . If you are implying that CPS only takes kids from people who "should have used birth control" or "couldnt afford birth control" than you are sadly mistaken and clearly dont know any more about how the system works than you do about birth control .

@@shari9721 of course not all foster kids are taken away because of bad parents but a lot of them are and giving free birth will help for the ppl that can’t afford it because some ppl actually can’t. It’s a way to help lower the numbers of kids being born into bad homes. And yes Texas CPS system is horrible and they need to find better ways to place and care for this kids.
