Erin, do you know that Banjo was created by Southern Blacks? If so, you should let your audience know that, and educate them! If not, do your homework and pay some respect to OUR ANCESTORS who never received credit for their creations!!!! Thanks!

These type of comments is why there’s so much division in our country right now. She’s covering a pop star’s song on KZfaq, not teaching an advanced specialty course on the history of the banjo. No, she SHOULDN'T have to give an entire dissertation and “give credit to your ancestors” along with a disclaimer. You wouldn’t say this to any other country music star, so stop doing this when she’s simply just having some fun with a Beyonce song. Geeeesh.

I think my initial comment is hidden but I keep getting alerts about other people’s response. The comment talking about ancestors is very desperate. I enjoyed the cover and this comment was weird and thirsty.
