One thing I know that has balanced TXSU sound,is those Oso powerful tubas ,trumpets and mellos with there parts in the song written esp for them...

I'm from the Jukebox and the Ocean was always one of my favorite bands to battle against. They are small but in the SWAC those are the most lethal bands because they know that have to put in extra work to blow away there competition. Some SWAC bands has gotten smaller over the years, but that don't necessarily mean there sound have.

@irlboii North Carolina Central University is a HBCU and they have an Asian person in their band. in the flute section actually. and HBCU's always have one or two white guys in their band. im sure you would fit in cause not all blacks are the same. for example im black and people always say im more of a white guy. just find a group of people who share your intrest. its really easy to do that.

@TheDragonmaster18 : Well, she's actually Cambodian, lol. But there is an Asian in the trumpet section and we have a White drum major. So we do not discriminate in HBCU bands. Just come down and show us your skills,

@TheDragonmaster18 sadly.. I'd go to a HBCU but i know i wouldnt fit in. ha. i was thinking about going to like a FAMU camp, but i'd be the only asian/white kid there.

@sidman1408 i dont think the pwc will take this sound from the hbcu's. they think that this is a bad way to play an instrument . and i do understand that schools that arenot from hbcu's are different. i have done three reseacrh papers about marching bands since i started college
