This one is a hard one to predict. Tech's been all over the place this year. Their 3QB killed them for the games he played making them seem worse than they are now. Morton seems to be getting healthy looking at his last game making some pretty good passes so that opens their offense up a bit more from relying on Brooks. I think they say Morton hasn't lost a game he has started and finished, which could change this weekend, but there are all those weird things that play out somehow. From a special teams perspective, they are really good. Watched their kicker make a 51 yarder and it was up in the stands, so he has some range if they don't keep going for it on 4th down. I think their defense is okay, but missing some key players and they are were shocking in the red zone. They give up some big plays so that's what will help. Although Tech's defense isn't amazing, if they get any turnovers, that's when this game gets close, similar to that OSU vs UCF game. Those passes that get tipped kept going to UCF and those are hard to predict. If there aren't any turnovers, I see UT winning pretty easily.

It'll be a blowout if and only if, tech passing game is weak, and they don't have skill players that will rise above their current performances. If both these are positives , it's a close game. If the running game is the strength, then the Texas will reduce reduce that strength to about 65% of normal. The it's a closer game than we would like. If the Texas defense rolls and stymies the tech game than the rout is on.

2009 A&M was one of those close games. It was 49-39.
