Roman, I don’t feel you represented our team fairly to these gentlemen. Polk has gone deep multiple times and scored tds. MacMillian will also go deep. The Huskies have the 3rd most 20+ pass plays in the nation. Penix will look for any of his receivers deep. Regarding the run game, Texas gives up 80 yards a game. Good number. If we get 100, we’re golden. Dillion Johnson has the highest YPG over the last 5 games of anyone in the country. So can the Texas D Line hold its number, or does Washington hit its 100 yard number? Good battle for New Years Day.

The Husky line pulls a ton, which will probably be a strategy to tire the big Texas line. They pull with the tackles, guards and center. If it were just zone blocking, it would be tough to run on Texas. Re pass blocking they gave up less than 1 sack per game (ie 11 all year). They faced 3 teams with more sacks than Texas (ie Oregon, Utah and Oregon State) and another Arizona with one less sack than Texas, so they “should” hold up on pass protection. That will be key if the Huskies can protect Penix.

All I hear is that Washington played great against the weaker teams, and not so great against better, more talented teams; Texas by double digits. HOOK ‘EM!

Absolutely the opposite of that. They beat Oregon three times in the last two years and nobody was picking them in those games.

Washington has more top 25 ranked wins tha. Any other team in the CFBP. bo nix twice, caleb williams, cam ward and dj ugielie? If texas played those quarterbacks would they be in the CFBP?

If texas played: bo nix twice, caleb williams, cam ward and dj ugielie would they be in the CFBP? Washington defense is finally healthy with there two safties back! Gonna be a great game i got Washington.

Washington is going to win the national championship. Washington has the best quarterback and the best recivers and the beat offensive line with a 1,100-yard rusher. Penix will push the pace, wear down those bigs, and open up the run. Just watch. 42-21 washington Washington will win the natty!
