Hi, James... Wow! The result is amazing with all the upgrades and modifications for that cool little boat! It's now so much more capable for scooting around the area quickly and witth comfort for you and the pax as well... It'll handle a lot too me thinks... Fishing, pleasure runs to close islands, snorkeling trips, and just out running like you've shown... Congrats and Holy Cow, I wanna take a ride in it when I finally make my way to your location... Good job...FWIW... I think you'd have made it in Northern Minnesota in spite of the inclement weather (as in COLD)... We've got a lot of locals there that have done similar things to their boats (for hunting, fishing, water skiing, etc.)... Puttering around boats is a hobby up there too... Just keeps you closer to the water, so much life when underway in and around the sea/lake... Nice! 🙏🙏🙏 👍😎👍

The boat is as stable as it gets, and the engine is PURRRING.

I noticed in a previous video that you were locking up the motor swing when underway, only lock the motor flip when you have to reverse. This will allow the motor to swing up if you run aground or hit a submerged floating log or fishing net, ect. Otherwise, if you hit some sort of obstruction while underway you risk ripping the engine and/or transom right off of your boat. Just sayin

Hi James. I guess those islands are called the Faroe Island. Half way from Scotland to Iceland. I was born there 70 years ago and still have family there. Many Filipinos lives there married to Faroese fishermen 😊

I started replacing my steering cable before this freezing weather moved in, I was stuck after cutting the middle of the cable, it is stuck both at the outboard AND the steering wheel. I need to figure out its total length and then buy the cable and steering yoke. Any brands you recommend?
