Text Circle in Word - Microsoft Word 2016. In this tutorial I will demonstrate how you can use Microsoft Word 2016 to be able to create a Text Circle with a lovely image inserted. Then will be taking a copy of our text Circle in image and using the image file in our work processes. You will find many variations that you can use from this tutorial as the methods used will also work in Microsoft PowerPoint 2016 and Microsoft Excel 2016.

I haven't used special things in Word since middle school. I was put in charge of making the tshirts for my husbands fire station. I wouldn't have been able to do it with out this video. THANK YOUUUU!

Thank you!! I am making Circular Key Chains for our International Convention which are 2.25 inches in diameter. Learning that these items are 'objects' and that they can be 'Snipped' and saved as pictures has cleared the confusion behind the use of Word Art. Thanks again.

Great tutorial, thanks for the step by step and visual detail - my toolbar only had a symbol for the 'Text Effects' option, so I wasn't able to make it work from the previous tutorial I searched up. One other hiccup was the font I chose initially didn't work well, gave a skewed/distorted curve. I tested a different font and it worked much better. Success!

Hi Trevor! I'm pulling my hair out.... trying to make a round 1" label. I followed your directions to the tee, but when I went to copy the 1" snipped picture onto the 1" Avery Label template, it was distorted and too small. I was unable to stretch it out to the one inch I needed to fit the circle on the template.... any help appreciated.

Thank you for the video. I don't understand why one cannot do something simple like actually write text inside a circle or any other shape. Something so simple and it can't be done. A lot of things about Word I just do not like. And someone made money off Word??!! Just garbage.

push alt and type in JOTXT and it magically appears. Mine didn't have it either. I googled it, found that silly piece of advice and then it was there! stupid microsoft...
