‪@Valve‬, thanks for finally getting something right.
With V-Script-powered custom gamemodes now formally in the game and reinforced with a seasonal example, the door has been opened to TF2 actually having a community-powered future. Which, to be frank, is not something I was expecting. Dead Game Lol only applies if the game appears to be a dead-end, but with this update, I'm starting to lean towards the idea that this game might actually never kick the bucket. We'll see if we ever end up getting that Heavy update, but even if we don't, the community can now make maps that might as well do it for Valve, and there's a non-zero chance they might make it into the game anyways. Time will tell.

honestly the sad thing about the neon fedora is that it wasn't supposed to be added on it's own it's a side piece to what would've been a new festivizer tool called "lunon-a-ticator", where you can deck out weapons (110 to be exact) to be in a similar style to the hat and they look really good. the collection also had a new all-class melee that was basically neon red / blu team signs naturally valve only added the hat and cucked the creator because it just looks super out of place and they've been catching unwarranted flak for it

It’ll probably have to happen eventually, but again, we’ll see how it goes. At the end of the day, I need to make money to live, and that’ll be the big motivator of whatever happens. If TF2 picks itself up and finally gets the heavy update? Maybe I’ll be able to stay on long-term. If not? I’ve never played Half Life and I’d like to try that sometime. We’ll see.

The most terrifying thing about this Scream Fortress is the precedent it sets. The last two seasonal updates have added great new gamemodes, which gives me hope for TF2's future. But when it comes to anything made by Valve, hope is the first step on the road to disappointment. I half expect every Smissmas map to be like Wutville this year.

I've found a good amount of entertainment when I learned you can taunt when doing the zombie demo charge, like the high five and then you just slide at somone, or the "woooo" taunt and become demo train Just rightclick and quickly taunt while youre ubered

Snowball Game mode: Create various snow barriers and snow forts through point spending,. Every weapon shoots out arching snowball or snowball-esque projectiles. Pyro's flames are replaced with a liquid nitrogen that it sprays out, inflicting the uncreatively named "frostburn" effect. Now, the question is, should anything inflict a slowing effect?
