FBI does NOT mess around! This is the kind of "prank" that can force Valve to shut down TF2 completely, not because Valve wants to, but because Valve HAS to since TF2 has become a "portal" to cheese pizza.

That's the only way. Dealing with it via programming side of things is INCREDIBLY hard. Though I was hoping that it would be Valve that sue them into oblivion. Bot hosters, owners of hardware and datacenters, github-alike online repositories, etc. For Valve it should be super easy. All they need is just hire one of lawyer companies to do this hitjob for them.

@@skipperg4436 It's very easy to be obscured by all sorts of services from throwaway emails to phone numbers, down to spoofing the very device a client is ran from, and they may have stolen accounts as well which could very well get innocent people in trouble; if Valve could do something to legally shut them down, they would've by now considering how much easier that would be to do.

Isolated instances make it's way through of course, but you do not expect to see CP on your YT homepage. With Valve servers the issue is prevelant and Valve is doing nothing about it. I could imagine a scenario where Valve goes with a nuclear option like banning all communication in Valve servers or shutting them down entirely.

I'm scared that showcasing all these major issues with tf2 is going to lead to us not having a game to play for much longer. I don't think the fbi would care about the overall life of the game if and when they choose to handle this cp case for example. What I'm scared that will happen is that they just view it as a simpler fix to just shut down the game and order valve to do so.
