However, I do recommend you listen to at least one or two songs from one of their recent albums (I highly recommend the song "Stormtroopers" as a jumping off point). As someone who enjoys anime a lot, I agree a lot with Sam’s point. It honestly has made me stop watching a lot of it in general since it all feels very generic. There’s obviously exceptions, such as anime where there’s rarely anything that sexual like Attack on Titan, or where it actually is a theme handled well like Chainsaw Man. Still though a lot just use it as a very cheap marketing tactic.

You remember Pixel Gun 3D? I loved that game. It was well in its prime years ago but now its just a cashcow microtransaction p2w sim. I try to play it every christmas for a little bit of nostalgia, and its just the same thing over and over again, new battlepass comes out, people spend their money on the new guns and then everyone in the server with the new guns instakills you. Its such a shame, and I honestly didn't think that many people would remember that game, but it seems like more people remember it than I think.

Well, mindset! Not every playthrough of a game will be the same experience. Pokemon is a GREAT example of this. If you try to have weaker levels, or if you set up something different, or if RNG decides you fail now, or if you want to choose a harder difficulty, you can make a new experience for yourself. Idk what Subnautica is (I also probably won't ever care so feel free to shape my perception of the game by telling me) but even if something is purely a story game, you WILL have a different experience when you go through it a second time. You can see what you remember, have past pieces of foreshadowing click as you see it, find re-meme-berable lines, know exactly what happens to that one guy you hate, do things for fun you never had the time to, trap NPCs in certain places, roleplay the character if you want, do goofy things and ask why that worked, go for new records, not make mistakes you made before, or even just have a different toolset. In Minecraft, for example, you don't need "Full enchanted Netherite armor and weaponry with 30 totems most stored in your Ender Chest, and to make the entire floor infinite water source blocks so you don't have to die of fall damage/deal with Endermen and also have a few beds to take the dragon down with" in order to beat the dragon You can do that with Iron armor. You can do that with *_no_* armor. You can do that with no armor _and a bucket_ as the only thing in your inventory. Someone has. In conclusion... I understand the stigma behind playing a game for the second time, but as someone, who, as a kid, literally had only 5 video games to play through and 30 movies to watch through for years... I had some repeats. I found fun in them. I was able to learn things from them. I'm able to play a game over and over without getting bored of it (depending on the game, and only for so long/so many times obviously). And I think you should be able to, too. But maybe not Subnautica. Some games you just can't do that with and Submautica might just be one, Idk. I've literally never played or watched Subnautica, so I honestly don't know. I'm like the gamer equivalent of Patrick Star; I live under a rock.
