@@ClepticTheIdiot No. he means that the speed loader actually adds in the bullets. The other revolvers already have the bullets inside the cylinder before the reload.

Maybe it's just mandela effect but I have a very strong memory of the shared shotguns having different reload animations. Like heavy holds it a higher angle and pushes the shell with his thumb and engineer palms the shell holding the gun pretty low.

tf2 updated the reload animations for a number of guns (like the shotguns and spy's revolvers) a while back. that's why some old Garry's Mod tf2 scripted weapons (SWEPs) look a little different compared to actual tf2 gameplay

At some point I like to believe the scatter gun and it variant have 2 internal magazine, one is for the main shooting while the second is for extra ammo without having to reload the gun physically again since you already have extra ammo in the gun.

every valve game (or source in general) has animations where the same magazine or bullet is reused, its weird when going max fov and seeing your character drop a magazine, catch it and reload the same magazine in the gun.

there's unrealistic, and then there's straight up broken/weird. Most of us can handle the Scattergun or the Sticky Launcher actually never "reloading", but Loose Cannon never actually sliding the ammo into the barrel? Spy never holding real moon clips except for Enforcer? Pretty off putting...

the animation work is not bad whatsoever its just not exaggerated. its done by the same people who make the third person animations so its not super crazy. its a step up from half life 2 by A LOT. if the sounds were more satisfying id be happier

I thought it was going to cycle through the weapons like every "repetitive action" Take scatterguns as an example, every pull of the lever, the gun changes, or the rockets, every load into the launcher is a launcher changed, or the shotgun, every shell loaded is a shotgun changed. Though that's for one a ton of effort and those that are the black sheep for that slot for that class will force you to mash weapons by type rather than class and the pistols that just straight up loads a mag.

are you seriously asking that???? you seriously dont get it? people are interested in guns. youre clearly not one of them so ill let you in on a secret: many (not all) gun hobbyists, real or airsoft alike wont tell you: the real reason we love firearms so much is because of the sounds and actions of them being operated. e.g mag in, mag out, charging handle rack. thats why cod mw2019 was loved so much for its animations. the animations were quick and crispy, the sounds were satisfying as hell, and thats what most people love about guns. reload animations are everything we love about guns, and thats why theyre so popular. or u could be a hunter or smtn idk

@@toastedbreadmanjr.1656 I completed Half-Life 2 and its episodes with every achievement. I just personally find reload animations to slow down the game by a substantial amount, but I still love the graphical presentation of Half-Life 2, so... yeah.
