I actually really like the Overdose, especially when combined with the Quick-fix, it's a effective get away weapon.

Coming back and watching this after so long, I have to toss in my own experiences and the words of Zesty on the Overdose: It's meant to be more of a movement tool than a weapon. As a medic who prioritizes healing my team over fighting, getting into a sticky situation that requires faster movement has helped. A lot.

If I’m being honest, when I started playing, i got the vaccinator in an item drop and was like “oh, small but multiple ubers” and then every time I died while I was ubered I said something like “wait how did I die? I used Uber!”

As a medic main using the Overdose, Quick fix, and Vita-saw, people seem to get salty when I continuously kill them from afar with syringes (because I personally don't like the crossbow). Also great for arcing shots onto engie buildings.

What's great about these videos is that despite being4 years old they'll probably never become outdated for better or for worse

Also to new medic mains: thanks for coming, us med mains love new friends, and non med mains are so happy when someone connects to a game and instantly goes medic. Lastly, sometimes and main will want to play something else for a bit and having someone else to help with heals is a great help to burnt out med mains, thanks for joining the fold, friend! If anyone yells at you for not being perfect, heal someone else they don't deserve you.

hi, I'm from the future and I can confirm that the new organ-harvesting technique is good.

This series is actually really educational for tf2.Obviously,you don't look at someone's weapons and think about all the stereotypes,you look at someone's weapons and observe their playstyle and judge what you have to deal with

I actually use the amputator and my god is it effective in payload maps, as soon as there's a door chokepoint all you need to do is sit to the side of the door while your team and the enemy team battles between the door frames and spam taunts, voila, you're healing your entire team in unholy amounts of burst heals and the enemy team can't get past because if one of them tries to go around they'll be one man short in the choke so you can sit and spam merrily away, getting billions of assists and eventually either the enemy will wise up and give an inch and start moving around, or, more commonly, give up and let the cart roll. The other big usage is when you have 2+ people on fire/bleeding etc crowding around you demanding heals and for that it excels since you can also passively heal anyone who happens to run past, i seriously have no idea why nobody else does this, i'm the only person i know or have seen to use the amputator like this and it makes no sense at all.

I definitely fall under the "medic who doesn't trust his team to keep him alive" stereotype. I use the Blutsauger, the quick fix, but instead of the vita saw I use the amputator because it's passive healing effects help negate the -3 health per second effect on the blutsauger, so that way I don't have to constantly be on the look out for health packs or firing at the enemy team. And despite using the blutsauger, I use the quick fix the most and spread heals very evenly with it. I feel like you were spot in with this episode.

Soundsmith, you forgot another sterotype for the overdose, someone who wants the Buetsager but can't get it cause they suck at medic achievements

Sniper Stereotypes : Stock :"Its hard to judge this because so many people use it, so if you see one with a stupid nickname relating to a point and click adventure, you know that guy is 12 years old and most likely has an Edgy name with an anime profile picture and a Lime/Pink Anger hat with a low tier unusual effect" Huntsman : Annoying to combat because of the way TF2 hitboxes work, but a lot of fun to use. Generally used by people who are self-aware about how memey the weapon is and new players who dont know what they're doing Sydney Sleeper : Mainly used by people that are completely self aware about how much this thing will piss people off (both literally and figuratively). Actually pretty good in MVM due to explosive headshots and Jarate explosions FROM headshots. Machina : A weapon mostly used by people deliberately aiming for the body. People that use it will tend to go for a multi-kill, but will never actually land one intentionally, and as soon as they land that accidental penetration shot on that poor Medic that just happened to poke out of cover for a split second, they go ballistic in the chat and try to pass it off as if they intended for that to happen. Bazaar Bargain : A Weirdly under-used gun, you'd expect more Snipers to use it since it's essentially a Straight upgrade to stock in the hands of someone adept at quickscoping. Ironically however, the people that DO use this weapon tend to always wait until the full charge, and almost never land an actual headshot. Hitman's Heatmaker : A gun that was used a lot back around 2012-2013 because of how hilariously good it was, nowadays nobody really uses it unless theyre using the set, playing MVM or completely over-estimate their skills with it similar to a Warpig. The Classic : This unlovable hunk of shit is essentially the weaker, hitscan brother of the huntsman. It's really bad for 4 reasons, which I'm going to list below. 1. Delayed fire rate due to the awkward charging system 2. Reduced bodyshot damage 3. Cannot headshot until fully charged. 4. Excluding the perfectly straight shot and scope It's completely outclassed by the Huntsman. And because of these reasons, even New players tend to avoid this festering shitpile like the plague. The only people that use it are those who have just unlocked it and want to see if its as shit as everyone else says it is, and Weapon Hipsters. SMG : Probably Sniper's weakest Secondary in terms of utility. The main role for this thing is to finish off enemies that you just quickscoped/bodyshot that are getting too close for comfort. It's not terrible, but its really not that great either. Typically used by new players or Hunstman Snipers because it allows them to easily finish off a target that they failed to headshot. Jarate : Probably using it with the Bushwacka, also used by cool Snipers that value teamwork. Razorback : The most "Meh" Secondary in the game, Blocks 1 backstab attempt, which is just there to slightly inconvenience an enemy spy. Usually people will be using this with the Default Kukri or Shiv so that they can tear the enemy spy a new asshole with random critical hits and/or bleeding effects. Darwins Danger Shield : A secondary that's most likely going to be used by a Troll with a Pocket Vaccinator medic (Set to Bullet-resistance, of course) to annoy the other team's snipers. *Note This might become outdated with the release of the pyro update, In the event that this happens, Expect these guys to mainly just be using this thing as somewhat of a crutch so that Pyros dont screw up their aim* Cozy Camper : Rarely-if-Ever used by anyone. .Even new players tend to avoid this thing, It's not actually too terrible though. I guess the main stigma of this thing is "Well if most people play on 2fort, they could literally go walk 5 feet back to spawn" Which is kind of a fair point. Most of the people that use this, true to the name, will tend to camp in really weird spots and will always be crouching. Cleaner's Carbine : The Hitscan version of Jarate. Instead of being a thrown projectile that coats multiple people in Mini-crit inducing miracle piss, this stupid hunk of shit generates "Crikey" when you deal damage, once the "Crikey Meter" is full, it gives sniper 8 seconds of minicrits. Essentially this is a weapon made for those selfish Snipers that care more about their killstreaks than Teamwork. It's honestly not too bad, but not very interesting. The best way to describe it is "Half SMG and Half Jarate", the main problem being that it does both jobs poorly. It's slow fire rate and reduced Damage make it's functionality as an SMG questionable, and the Minicrit mechanic is arguably pretty terrible because Jarate does everything better. Like I said before, this thing is generally used by Killstreak-hungry Snipers trying to make a Bushwacka montage and New players for the most part. Kukri/Ham : Used by a lot of people because of it's ridiculous Crit rate and lack of a real downside. The Kukri is one of the best Stock Melee's in the game mostly due to the fact that its a flexible weapon that can work with a lot of builds, and because theres no other sniper Melee that completely surpasses it. Really great weapon all around. It and it's reskin, the Ham are used by basically 50% of all Snipers because of just how reliable this thing is. Tribalman's Shiv : Not too terrible of a weapon in all honesty. The bleeding effect, similar to the fire effect, really fucks with people's aim, so it can work well as an escape tool, but works best when used to combat spies. This little thing is most likely going to be used by Newer players or people pairing it with the Razorback for maximum Spy-combatance efficiency. Bushwacka : Essentially the Sniper Version of the Axtinguisher, except instead of fire, it crits off of mini-crits. This little hay-maker is going to obviously be with the Jarate and Carbine, and works well with both.The main people using this thing are either people that can pull off ridiculous and ballsy combos, or the guys trying to emulate those that can. On a side note, I generally see this thing being used by Snipers with goofy cosmetic loadouts that play Aggressively-defensive, or Defensively-aggressive (AKA they like to Ambush people when playing defense and bait people into really awkward places when playing offensive) Shahansha : Rarely used outside of x10 servers. Most people that use this probably just use it because it looks really cool honestly. It's another weapon that even newer players tend to avoid. It's honestly kind of a mediocre weapon that should really be buffed or reworked.

I was today years old when I realized quickfix uber removes knockback

A few years back on 2Fort, was using Quick-Fix uber every time I encountered this airblast-spamming Pyro. They accused me of hacking (i corrected him by saying hackers actually do something "impressive", rather than abusing scripts in a pc game). They later got random crits almost every time they met someone - something that should be impossible considering they were slaughtered by a Heavy, Soldier and/or Scout each respawn (since they just ran at us). While they thought they had an advantage against us, they then just proceeded to get either airshot by Soldiers or headshot by Snipers (for some reason forgetting about airblast each airshot - guess tunnel vision was in effect). Their team knew and didn't kick them - they wanted to waste the Pyro's time and let them suffer (the whole enemy team memed during then by going full Carbine & Bushwacka and/or Steak & Warrior's Spirit). After ~10 mins they lost it, going on to rage spam kind of like that Spy soundsmith triggered in another vid. I was having a great time, since every moment they spent being destroyed by us was a moment not spent ruining a noob's day.

Sigh, I miss the old Vitasaw. The rework basically changed it's passive ability to work like the Ubersaw, where you have to hit people to build the charge. If I was going to use a weapon with Ubersaw mechanics, I would use the Ubersaw. So now I use the Amputator instead.
