Wow, this would be a true study level aircraft. It's my favorite aircraft since I used to work in airport operations and got to stand next to one by FedEx. A truly monster of an aircraft in person. I am sold as soon as it's available.

We look forward to seeing more of this bird. I'd like to see ice effects, smoke on cold start engines, and windshield wipers that actually do their job and not just move decoratively. Particularly curious about the cargo variant as it's my favorite. ✈

I have a lot of questions regarding the MD-11 and I am not a Discord user, but seeing as I keep the old PMDG MD11 around, you can tell that systems wise, I am rather spoiled and I hope you can top it. As a result, I have checked out the competition of MD11s on other sims, and one annoying thing I have noticed is how they chose to handle the "Overboost bar" (Switches FADECs to alternate mode for a temporary additional thrust if you ram the thrust levers and bump the bar out of the way at the end of the thrust lever travel) Will you map 100% axis to the maximum where it stops at the overboost bar, meaning you will have to trigger it via a key or something, or will we have to be super careful to not go into overboost mode unintentionally like your competition aircraft does it? PMDG for reference had a key to trigger the overboost bar, with and modelled the thrust levers accordingly, which felt a lot better to fly.

Do you have any plans to release it on xbox aswell at a later stage? I know Microsoft doesn't want freeware aircraft on the marketplace and that min price is 4,99$. But can't you try to add it to the marketplace even for a decent price. I believe that also xbox players would love to see this, especially because of the lack of high fidelity aircraft existing and only the pmdg 737 exists as only very good airliner on xbox. Would love to see this on xbox, even for a good 50$ or so. I always feel a little left out on these planes. If you are considering it, me and many people would be very happy.

Looks like the project just got pushed back again. Can’t personally justify paying upfront for an aircraft that consistently misses timelines. At this point, based on TFDi agreement with exlusive and pre-purchase buyers, it wont be open for purchase until March 2024 at the ABSOLUTE EARLIEST. Based on manh comments from the sim community, it seems this detail has escaped most.
