I cooked a 120amp esc on 6s... it was moderately proped at best 180 seems to be much happier with my 42in hull

Your prop shaft needs a securing holder underneath at the back.... I can hear it vibrating.... After a while this will cause leaks etc etc

@@RCTanksTrucks247 yeah just a thought... Its low down on the rev range that I heard the vibrations most prominent... But it may affect the whole range upon applying throttle... I've had success applying epoxy resin onto the inside around the prop shaft where it meets the Hull.. . And also with using a prop shaft bracket at the rear on the outside... Give it a try.... The less vibrations.. The more efficient it will be on the water 👍

Use a prop balancer and sand paper on blade. Look for how to on you tube. Not epoxy. I send my blades out for professional balance, sharpening and polish. (Huge improvement over stock)

@@munkeybiznes I was referring to the prop shaft... Not the prop..... This is a lightweight vacuum molded Hull.... Prone to vibration from stock shaft..... Yeah a properly balanced prop will help.... But these cheaper shafts are never great even with a balanced prop.... That's why I tend to add extra epoxy to the shaft casing from the inside of the hull Each to their own

Hi, I have the same rc boat, I go 4s with stock motor and esc. Did you replace the stock motor and esc to be able to go 6s lipo?

Nice, Lucre seemed to enjoy the drive by wetting. Apart from the grub screw, its got decent performance. I expected slower given its looks.

How did you seal the hatch to prevent water inside the hull?

Haven't sealed it any different from stock. Small amoun of water comes in but nothing major

Why are boats so much harders on lipos. My udr runs for at least 45 minutes on 6s.? Great vid thumbs way up

Boats run wot 80% of the time and pull huge amounts of amps compaired to cars. Anything 32" and up will happily draw 100~150A at wot. My 41" Zonda twin brushless cat draws +/- 160A for each motor at wot and will spike over 200A getting up to speed.

A princess just isn`t meant to be run like that, TFL or not.. It`s like flying acro with a 747 :p The V should be deeper as well, in my oh so super duper honest opinion. It`s a daycruiser, come on, it should have some weight to it, be a bit sluggish, make some waves and go like 20-35kmh. Shove 12 NiCd`s in there with a brushed 700 motor and it`ll be juuuuust right :) (yes I`m old, shut up and get off my lawn!)

mine is faster on 4s. get rid of the plastic prop and bring the batteries back a bit.
