Great vid congrats!! Tell your buddy that was talking about the Simmons heads to give them a try!! They are awesome heads and leave ridiculous blood trails!! They are definitely not your standard 2 blade hole that closes up. Nice buck, and great shot congrats again!

years ago I found that at times I was just shooting at the deer and not picking a very specific spot. I began shooting tiny targets up close to force myself to focus better. made a heck of a difference from then on. the buck was a beautiful buck and a great shot. I once heart shot a deer and like to never found it, actually twice, for what ever reason they just didn't bleed until the last twenty yards or so. I was beginning to wonder about my shot plus they travelled almost 200 yards (downhill mostly). So I try for a lower double lung to make sure that they can't breath and I have a good blood trail. Good luck and keep at it.

That grunting you did, was it natural voice or what call were you using?

Why do so many hunters feel that bringing 4 and 5 year old kids out on recovery will spark their interest?
